When using a scalping robot, what are the advantages and disadvantages of using 200:1 leverage vs. 500:1?

I think 200: 1 leverage should be used. Because no matter what strategy I use, leverage will keep me safe.

Leverage is an important issue. As a trader, we should take this opportunity from the broker. I think 1:50 leverage should be used if there is a good deposit.

Leverage is good for small traders. It helps to increase capital.

Yes, that's right. However, if the investment is low at low leverage, there will be many problems to trade.

I also think that 1:50 is the best leverage for every trader.
I agree with you.
Thank you so much for agreeing with me. Trading is a community and we will help each other as members of that community.

500X is too much even manual trading. You should restrict to 200X in my opinion.
The more your practice, the more you learn.

I think you should go for the lower leverage because it will help you avoid any risk with scalping. It’s better to not exceed 20x although you’ll find offshore brokers offering even up to 2000x. Better safe!

When it comes to leverage higher the higher is the risk of losing and higher are the chances of gaining. basically higher leverage helps you to trade more with less capital and earn more profits... I strongly believe a medium range of 50-100X is enough leverage.

That's right. However, if scaling is done, leverage is selected more. Then it is very risky for the account.

I think 1:50 is the best leverage for every new trader.

- For a newbie I believe the best leverage is 1:30, the very reason many regulated brokers restrict their clients to a leverage of 30X. Also, the forex market is a very risky market so it is better not to go for 50X in the very start.

Yes, you are right. If you want to take less risk, you have to select low leverage.

Not everyone has such capital that allows you to trade a large amount of currency, so you can use leverage like Amarkets, that is, borrow money from a broker to make a deal

Even 1:1000 leverage is fine as long as the right Lot size is used. In fact it better to have large leverage because can then use smaller Lot size
But if that were the case, every broker would have offered 1:1000 leverage without thinking twice.

1:30 or 1:50 are some good leverage ratios for newbies. There’s less risk involved. I too started with 50x leverage when I was a beginner, but am playing with 500x at the moment.

Different brokers offer different amounts of leverage, but it seems to me that everyone should choose for himself, because I only for his trade will have an impact.

Why small leverage? I think that larger leverage is good for small traders because you need a smaller account

I use leverage more than once, and I cannot say that this is a high enough risk and, in principle, everything suits me.
