It's a learning phase for me. I am currently demo trading on IG.
My research into good live brokers is still going on. I would appreciate any recommendations or advice.

There are a lot of good brokers out there. You should pick one based on your trading requirements. Hopefully, you find the right one soon.
It is best to choose several options and compare the conditions and choose one that is already suitable for yourself.

'I suggest FP Markets for new traders because they are reliable and regulated by ASIC and CYSEC, so they adhere to strict capital requirements.
New traders can trade using their micro-lot that has lower capital requirements with spreads from 0.0pips; the risk and loss involved in it are also lower.'

Brokers are a very important issue for every trader. Survival in trading will be a bit complicated if you don't follow the rules properly.
I tried to work with different companies, but for a beginner now a really profitable option is a broker from Amarkets. According to the working conditions, this is a great option.
@RobertFrank Do you have anything specific in your mind while looking for a forex broker? For the low cost, you can check out fxview, their commission is only $1 per side.

If you have real issues with finding a proper broker, then you firstly must determine what is important for you in terms of relation of broker to you. I believe that it becomes much easiedr to find a suitable broker in case you really know what you expect from trading activity and what you expect from a broker. As far as I concerned traders aren't egaer to dedicate lots of time to the process of finding a broker, but I'm convinced that it really matters a lot. No matter what you want actually, the matter is to understand your needs and find a broker which will also understand your needs. So, just google and everything will be okay.

For a beginner, I consider a broker from Amarkets to be a rather profitable option. At least, at work, I really liked this option.

From my point of view I can say that if I want to find a reliable broker I have to do research online.

Both transparency and regulation are important when it comes to choosing the broker.
