Hi There Everyone,
I know its not really realistic to expect individuals to give away trade secrets and strategies but I have been in and out of trying to trade for a while now and just want to know where to start. I do not mean in terms of learning the basics but in terms of getting to a point where I can open up a live account and begin trading properly. Any help with regard to resources on strategies and advice would be awesome!!

The sooner you start to trade, the better. Books are good, news are good, you can learn a lot, but the main thing is to be involved with the market. Watch the tape, follow the trend, listen to what it says. Try to see how it behaves in different situations. Also, demo is good, but don't stay there for too long, maybe 2-3 months, then open a live account, maybe mini, so you could feel the excitement and emotions. Best of success!

Hello,
If you have knowledge of trading you should go to free webinars of trading strategies or things like that and then prove those strategies in demo account for a while to see how good they are.
If you have none experience or knowledge in trading I honestly recommend you that you get to a trading course (not a basic one but a complete one) where they teach you basics, a system, strategies and so on. It's important that the program of the course also encourage you to practice the lessons in demo account (there is ppl that say you should go directly to real account, but I recommend to use demo first).
Don't haste your process, I've seen ppl losing thousand dollars just because they wanted a shortcut in their learning curve.
Best regards.

Hey,
dont hurry or you will burn your money and never start properly.
Do it step by step.
Create trading plan, trading strategy. Define what to trade when to enter trade when to close trade. Stick to the rules.
Trade the plan on demo at least 3 months.
If it does not work change the plan and repeat.
IF you make money on demo switch to cent account
If you succeed and stay cool you can trade real money.
There is no easy way and anyone who promise you so will not make you but yourself rich:)

While the forex market is complex, and traders may need to study it in order to become comfortable with it and trade well, getting started with forex trading is rather simple. To begin trading, all that is required is a small sum of money, a brokerage account, computing capacity, and internet access.

The market is always a surprise trader. So, there is always some time to learn new.
It's almost impossible to learn everything, you will gradually forget things which you had learned in the past. I believe that you should set proper priorities. Learn only those information, which you can apply on practice. Of course, nobody prohibits you to learn every day lots of thing about trading activity, and as well, it's very useful for you as a trader, but I want to advice you to concentrate on practicing, because it gains much more experience than learning. To my mind, you can try to read economic books or trading books, where the experience of particular people is described. It's very useful I guess.
