The settings are the default ones, using MM at 0.2% of risk. Stategies S1, S2 and S3 enabled, aggressive S3 disabled.

It's a not an ECN account, that's a classic one (I've choosen ForexSensation in the list), at FxChoice, leverage is 1:200

Hi, Looks like you get a better exit with FxChoice. I have the same trade and entry time but it got me out much earlier time with my FXDD classic account. Do you know the reason when it got out earlier ? Is this EA build so it works better with FxChoice ?

Something to understand about FS and FSE.

While traded lot size is directly proportional to:

1) Equity
2) Risk

Leverage changes have almost no effect on traded Lot size.
It seems 100 Leverage is assumed.
Running higher Leverage does not increase Lot size.
Have tried everything from 100 to 1,000.
As long as the Equity and Risk are constant, varying Leverage has almost no effect on traded lot size.

Active close management:

FS and FSE apply an active close management.
While both SL and TP are set for every trade, it is rare for a trade to close at either SL or TP due to active close management.
Observe the order Mods that follow just about each Open to see both SL and TP being actively managed.
Very visible in this backtest.

I like what I see.
Yes I have seen this active close management in real time and by looking at the Expert and Journal logs.

In my testing I exercise all 4 FS/E modes.
Yes I did say 4 modes:

Mode 1) Strategy 1

Mode 2) Strategy 2

Mode 3) Strategy 3, Aggressive = False

Mode 4) Strategy 3, Aggressive = True

However you can not get all 4 modes to run in one EA.
You need 2 EAs:

1st EA = modes 1, 2, 3.
2nd EA = mode 4.

Comments?

Tick story is what I use to backtest with 99% model quality, only problem is it has to be used with MT4 build 432 which can be a pain to find so here it is! Now someone give us a backtest of cash printer from at least 2007 or so to present, there have been a lot of different market conditions since then!

Tickstory uses fixed spreads, despite real spreads being available in true tick data.
No point in back testing unless you have true tick data that has on each tick:

1) Time
2) Bid Price
3) Bid Volume
4) Ask Price
5) Ask Volume.

Anything else is a waste of time.[/quote)

i use tickstory as well but on built 509 the latest u can download a demo acct & when selecting the files to download u can choose which MT4 to be downloaded & i get 99.9% Q.

It matter not what MT4 says.
If you don't have tick data with real spreads, the backtest is BS.

Tickstory say their tick data spreads are fixed, so doing a backtest is a waste of time.

Your need:

1) Tick data with real spreads

2) Back tester capable of using tick data with real spreads.

As far as I know only Brit's Tick Data Suite is capable of making MT4 do backtests using real spreads.
But then you need to get real tick data with real spreads for your broker of choice.
Many tick data sources do not deliver real spreads and like tickstory which use fixed spreads, which is a waste of time.

As far as I know this is a grid trader / martingdale style EA.
May have increasingly larger orders open for a long time.
Good luck.
