events today stress the importance of risk management. Stops. We kept intentionally away from USDCHF and GBPCHF. We even emailed our client about how one should not trade any CHF pair because this was being traded by SNB. When a central bank acts as a hedge fund, its time to exit that pair because they will always have prior information. Golden Boy system works around these market events all the time looking to limit damage and wait for trends that it can take.

Deer geektrader (I love the name "geektrader")- i will try to put out the 23000 trades over 10 year backtests. It makes no sense because you will see massive returns. Its long term return in backtests is so huge that you will only see a better return profile. There are over 100 occassions where you have seen markets have trended and Golden Boy takes those trends and makes massive returns. For example in 2008 it ended up making over 250% return that year. Its very difficult to show these large returns because then they are "only backtests". What matters is what happens in reality. The reality is the last 9 months. Backtests are even better. But since you insist and you want to join our MAM, it will take me some time to collate every thing and put it up. So maybe after some days when am ready to stop the system for maintainence or so, will extract the backtests and put it for you. In the meanwhile, trade well buddy. Cheers- TQ

Great, thanks a lot. It´s enough if you just upload the Ninjatrader backtest reports and with fixed lot sizes so that compounding doesn´t influence the equity curve. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Hi geektrader- Not yet. I have not yet shut down the server even once. This weekend will go in upgradation of hardware. Next weekend is something we can see. Please email me. can you?

thanks, but I think if you would make them public it would make a lot more sense since many people are interested in that. Also, the current performance underlines my need for some backtests as the system is not doing really good in the new and more volatile market conditions as I see here.

Dear Geeek- Thanks for your concern. But am sorry. You need to email us. We need to send such specific requests on case by case. We are not interested in putting up MBs of data on server.

What are "MBs" in these days? Are you joking?;) You can get a server with a few GB and unlimited bandwidth for 10$ a month or less, yet you say you can´t put up a few MBs for the backtests? I am sorry, but I am out from here as you def. have to hide something as you keep on winding out why you can´t provide any backtests to the public. And my guess is because your backtests do not look good at all and the system is just optimized for the recent market and already starts to struggle as we can see. Still good luck to you.

Dear geektrader - All you need to do is email us. We need to process such personal requests case by case basis. As I said , you can ignore completely this thread if you do not want. There is enough data out there already with over 2000 trades off backtest. That is more than enough. If you need more, email us but please dont keep asking the same thing again and again on the thread. This thread is OUR thread to speak of current performance. All other requests need to be taken on email. Thanks

Golden Boy stable as ever. When it finds a trend in its time zone, it makes money and lots of it. Else its sideways equity curve.

EURUSD showing good stability at 1.1330 while GBPUSD looks vulnerable.
USDJPY has refused to rally over 118.5 and now is looking for lower levels.

Closed January with a 6.5%. Trends were difficult in January with surprise Central bank activities. There was a lot of whiplash markets. But Golden Boy was steady and still etched 6.5% for the month.

Can you confirm you are nothing to do with Jazz Forex?
Your systems seem very same and I remember Jazz forex said on the webpage they had a junior trader named Angel. Your name is Gabriel so Angel Gabriel. Me thinks you are him no? If so, did you leave them and set up your own TQ Capital?
You both seem to trade same lot size and always 2 lots even if you lose money or make money. And both you systems very identical.

Golden adjusting to trends. Been short yen now from being long. AUDUSD was the big mover today. RBA cuts rates. GB been staying away from Aussie.

Its been tight risk management as Golden adjusts to a volatile sidemarkets markets. Markets are awaiting a breakout in my view. USDJPY will the defining mover imo.
