I would first try the lighter way. Ask Your broker about that and what can they do to make it ok.
Actually I succeed battles like that with my broker couple times and now everything works smooth.

agh!!!.. I changed 'Use Stop Orders' & 'Hard Stop Trailing' from true to false but that didnt change anything..
Removed MDP from the chart & re-installed it to..
The screen has: ECN Condition failed Open Slip >10 & Close Slip>10

This is a fault of MDP. It appears that the decision whether or not to use the stop orders is hard coded and the true/false settings are just for show.

Hi guys,

I did a test verifying exec time.

I've got Pepperstone Razor account.

I installed MDP on VPS located in Sydney, where ping time to Pepperstone is
2ms. MDP shows exec time 5960 ms.

Then, I installed MDP on VPS located in New York, where ping time is 225 ms.
And again, MDP shows exactly same value 5960 ms.

What is going on ? Why exec time is the same while ping is different ? How to improve exec time ?

From what I have seen, MDP does not change it's posted execution time until it trades. So what you are seeing on the MDP screen is the time the previous trade took.

I am not sure what the problem is, I am using pepperstone with mammoth vps, and the execution time is terrible....even wiv group order. Is it the problem of my vps or broker? Sometimes my

Average execution time: 3300ms, Average open time: 5045ms, Average Modify Time: 2763ms

and got a warning: Connection/Broker too slow....

Ping will tell you how long it takes for a packet to get to it's destination.

You can also run the command tracert <Ip address> and it will tell you how many devices your packet hits between your source and destination. The less the better.

If your ping is higher than 50ms and your tracert is more than 15 hops, your MT4 is a relatively long distance away from the trading server and can affect trading with MDP IMHO.

If your ping and trace route are good and you still have high execution times...then it is on the broker side. I would ask them about it.

It appears that You were not smart enough to understand config options, its not hard coded.

If You want to enforce stop orders and trailing stops to false then also set AutoECN to false. In other case it will try to detect ECN capabilities and will change stop orders and trailing options according to this on the fly.

Thanks for your advices. Another question....(might be stupid)....after 8th October....will Mammoth still a good VPS as the server move to NY, or will it be better if I get a NY VPS?

In theory, the closer the VPS is to the broker server, the better. I am not familiar with Mammoth. I use ForexVPS-UK. I would ask the VPS outfit. Some of them have multiple locations.

I've checked the ping, I m not familiar with IT stuff, therefore I am not sure what is useful, that's what i got.

1ms is good. The IP address is in Australia. If your mt4 is also in Australia. That is good too. I would be concerned with the lost packet that timed out. I would run that a couple times to see if it is a consistent connection problem or just a glitch.
