Can anyone tell me how often the account statement on here is updated please?
When I check the html version, last trade is on 21st Oct at the moment.

Started running this EA Tuesday, it took trades yesterday lunchtime and around 0320 this morning.
10k demo a/c now standing at 10415. Looks like I got lucky, starting with winning trades.

Main concern is on the drawdown and what size losses to expect, will have a better view of that once I have more results, but would be grateful to hear from others...

Pepperstone wrote a code for MDP. And they make the MDP slower. And loose came. Normally when you make a ex-test with pepperstone the results are very good. But when MDP try to open orders, they slow down the orders. I withdraw from that fraud broker.

this is the main reason why i always change the magic number and comment. It isn't absolutely perfect, but it does help to bypass any nasty tricks.

LOL. Really? I mentioned this as a possibility about a month back. It was more so me thinking out loud, but honestly.... I'm not surprised.

Has anyone noticed how the Prices on the CHART Do not correspond with the True Market Watch Box Data? Walker36 pointed this out and sure enough, my chart lines which I use for SL/TP were not hit, but the trades were closed out....
I also tested a Spread indicator that posts the Bid and Ask price on the chart, and its not the same as the M1 candles. Little off topic.

So has the NEW Pepperstone Server speed up execution besides when MDP fires a signal. Can you share some Execution numbers from your VPS to DataCenter in NYC? Thanks

I don't think they Screen Comments or Magic Numbers, but run MDP themselves to trigger execution delay.

this demo account is correctly updated.

and remember a demo account is not the reality. you do not suffer delays like a real account, and (as you can read it here) this speed has a huge impact on the results!

If that is the case, then they would have to stall all orders occurring anywhere near the price range in the same direction. Anything is possible.

I'll have to try that. Get the signal from MDP, and start manually sending orders on EURUSD

One other possibility of the non-correlated price action and hitting of stops is the high probability of the ticks not being received by mt4 due to a high latency. High latency in this case would be anything over about 1-2ms.

well... I try to open a trade during the pick, manually.
my broker is not good, I suffer too many requotes offprices etc...
and this manual trade fall in this problem I was not able to open the trade until the spike was at the maximum!!!!
(I'm waiting for my new account with another broker)

so its not only MDP which suffer issues.

I don't think the guys at Pepperstone are playing dirty tricks, at least on my ECN Razor account; also, chart data and market watch data match. My latency VPS ping test reports <2ms. Frankly, I'm quite happy with the EA's performance, nothing bad to report at all so far.

One of my broker is down, the other made negative, I think that was not a good spike for MDPips

It doesn't make sense that Pepperstone would invest money in moving their servers to NYC, and then screw MDP users. Pepperstone is a recommended broker from the vendor, so there must be thousands of MDP users there, slowing execution times when MDP triggers trades, but their execution times are fine at other times.

Exactly and let's not forget that - at least with their ECN Razor - they are not taking the opposite side of the trades as market makers, so it would be their intertest that you succeed in the long run (commissions at $7.53 lot per round turn is also VERY competitive). It's true that a bunch of people are probably bombarding their servers with MDP orders but that's the reason (among others) why they moved to the Equinix NY4 Facility, and execution time has improved drastically since. You MUST have a low latency VPS though (up to 5-8ms, optimum <2ms).

Pepperstone smokes, at least for me.

That was painful. 13 trades, 2 winners and 11 losers -48 pips. Still ahead for the day thanks to that nice trade last night.

The vendor recommends Thinkforex and Pepperstone for non-U.S. traders and Hotforex for U.S. traders. I think he recommended GoMarkets at one point, but is no longer recommending them because they no longer pay their I.B.'s commissions.

GREAT news, that means less people will randomly jump in overloading the servers like hell...

And I might be nasty, but I'm sure good ole William is the latest hottest IB for Hot Forex. 😎

Never mind, the EA does the work and that's all I care about.
