Anyone complaining about lack of trades.. this is what causes you to lose in trading. You want trades even when there is not a trade opportunity. Why force trades that aren't there? It's just going to result in losing money. The system trades when the strategy aligns. Be patient. It will have high volume periods of time and slow periods. Let it run.

I agree 100%, I have seen this as the biggest reason for failure in trading (anything not just forex). Anyone forcing trades that indicators aren't there are simply gambling.

Doug@RevTraderPro, you miss my point. I am not complaining about lack of trades but NO AFTERSALES SUPPORT. I have sent email to ask for advice if my setting is wrong and there is no reply. Am I supposed to assume that setting is correct and let it runs for the next 50 days or so only to discover that is my fault for remaining patience ? Seriously, you need to do something about support. I hate to rant the frustration here but looks to me that it works - I got a reply right after I posted here. Nevertheless, to do you justice, I will set risk level to 4%-5% as you suggest. I will also top up fund and let the EA runs for the remaining 49 days. My URL has the published results. I am still hopeful that my decision to purchase RTP is a right one. Thanks for replying to my email.

The part i love is being told early in the forum to basically 'piss off' for offering to help people on a one on one basis.

there is no mention on money management anywhere and with a high majority of new traders that cant manual trade or program themselves end up losing money..

Its all 'protect the vendor' until he doesn't answer your questions or the EA goes pop..

anyone thats been here long enough to see the Sphantoms or the profit empires know exactly what im talking about!!

If support doesn't respond then yes.. Come to the masses.. Most people are more than willing to help. I offered to help people at the start and was accused of trying to steal business away from RTP.. To the point I was banned from the forum.. You know who you are.. Shame on you!

I purchased RTP around xmas, and I'm happy with it. I use the same broker as Doug and get almost identical trades. Very happy. I was wondering if anyone has tried back testing and optimizing on any other currency pairs yet? Ones I had in mind were maybe:

USDCAD and USDJPY

In theory... surely it can be applied to any currency pair?

Not making any suggestions but the gbpusd pair seems to favor the 30 min chart. haven't lost a trade yet. Unfortunately Im over-leveraging my manual trades (which swing into profit eventually) to the detriment the account. Im letting RTP do the work here on out.

I am running on all pairs and currently 17 Currency pairs have fired a signal. I am using a default EURUSD setfile for all pairs because it is just a test and I haven't backtested any other pairs besides EURUSD.

Did you compare backtests between M30 and H1 or are you running two charts side by side and taking the signals with discretion?

Are you lowering the Levels for more signals or increasing the Stoch Level to ensure a better entry on the reversal?

If someone want to have more trades, then youy can change the MA setting to H1.
Look at the pairs which have a stoch setting like a sinus course, then you can put that EA to trade. The stoch is better let as it is,but for UJ,GJ you need stoch over 80 and event above 90 and below 20 down to 12.

Anyway such setting is not safe, but can get more trades.
Cheers!

No Sir neither of the two. I discovered this by mistake as I have a habit of analyzing multiple time frames. for some reason the gbpusd 30min indicators synchronize when every other chart is waiting for a signal. I will restrain from playing wth any settings. What I need to do is play with my accounts base balance and really start cooking with grease....trying to get out the rat race myself

Some time ago posters who had bought RTP with credit cards were talking about having trouble getting their money back if they wanted to bail because of the company handling credit card transactions being difficult and problematic. Using pay pal was recommended. Can anyone tell me if this is still the case? Still hard to get money back through the credit card handler RTP uses?
