Looks like I returned this EA at the perfect time. This type of performance is not worth $697 or even $97, If he lowers the price to $49 I might repurchase.

Unfortunately, the changes to GBPUSD were bad timing, i made it so the new sets catch more profits on gbpusd. Older SET caught less but prevented issues like this. Ups and downs. Vortex trades on lower time frame so it can take signals in different direction.

From day 1 of Rev Trader Pro, it is been eating up my Capital and it is almost gone in Just about 2 months. I'm sure, it is for all who bought Just 2 months back. But Vortex Trader Pro is doing pretty good at the same time.

I suggest Doug to give good deal for Rev Trader Pro customers to buy Vortex Trader Pro as recent change doesn't seem to work good for current market conditions.

Rev Trader Pro doesn't seem to work for current market conditions when compared to Vortex trader pro. I think Doug needs to make RTP versatile atleast include the logic of Vortex trader pro and save RTP's new customers.

I agree...if Doug could somehow include the trading logic of Vortex into RTP for those clients like myself who just purchased that would be great. When you spend that kind of money for an EA, you expect to see exceptional results like those from Vortex. Not only are you out the cost of the EA but you also factor in the money you lost out of your account as well.

Do you know some EAs for $97 or less which have a better performance without beeing potential 'account killers'?
Then please tell us! 😄

Welllll Ricki, am in throes of discovery of a strategy that greatly beats anything I seen from StrategyQuant in 2yrs running it, so keep my name around, have fxblue so y'all will someday see its performance there.
don't believe 99.9% of the EA e-ads out there my friends!

Guys I can put in the logic for Vortex into RTP, but keep in mind there will be a bunch of trades that will be small wins, when they could have been winners. And you guys may find that frustrating, but it can be done.

Had a slow but decent week, I am still on Ver 2.5, Had 5 trades, only 1 loss.... I am also considering shutting down the GBP pair and just running 3 pairs... GBP has been killing everyone on RTP...

IMO... You can not panic when running an EA. If you cant stand to let it do its job, you should not be using EA's. If the EA is not handling the current market conditions well, lower your lot size to reduce the impact on your account..

Hi doug,
Suggest you to ley your clients use you Vortex EA freely for some time untill REV EA become profitable. For the clients who joined you by REV EA recently, we faced large continuous loss.

Thanks for the consideration.

I concur with that suggestion. I was billed through Chinese Yuan and after 3 currency exchanges, I ended up paying $800+ USD for RTP. 60 Days will be up soon and RTP continues to show losses than wins. Not sure when or will this be fixed. If I asked for refund, it is going to go through another round of 3 currency exchanges. I probably ended up paying for nothing and incurring losses that I shouldn't have if I have not trusted Doug Price and his RTP. Still keeping my finger crossed before the 60 days is over.

Though i had settings CloseBeforeFridayMarketClosed = true and FridayCloseMinutesBefore = 30 for GBPUSD, My open order is still open. Does that mean, RTP is not obeying its settings?

At this point Doug, I'm willing to accept small consistent wins over large losses. I realize that RTP has had it's bad moments last year such as May and July when it actually lost money for the month overall. I've never seen it loose this consistently with the size of losses it has been lately. If you could incorporate that stategies of Vortex into RTP I would feel as though I have gotten my money's worth and could possibly even recoupe the cost of the EA.

A quick glance at the monthly charts will show RTP's pairs in an uptrend. The EA is trying to find tops for GBP reversals while the uptrend is too strong. I think this is a buy only market. The settings for RTP can be set at 'LONG ONLY' but this may stop trades completely as the RTP trend indicator is reading 'short' at the moment. RTP did open an awesome trade for a long GBP a few weeks ago which would have hit TP but got SL'd out at a smaller profit. As it stands its all about management now until RTP goes through its inevitable down stage. We're prob looking at a 2% to 5% drop from the EA profit highs before she becomes profitable again.

Don't do that... there is no logical reason to combine the EA's other than an attempt to satisfy a few complainers, who I'd like to point out don't even share their account data for RTP but complain about its performance... I doubt they are even running RTP at all....

RTP has been doing just fine with exception of GBPUSD, folks just need to manage that pair until the market cleans up(lower your trade size or turn it off)... it is the market causing all the loosing trades for GBP not RTP..

just my 10 cents..... :)

As my opinion, for the client who purchased RTP should have a special discount to buy VTP, especially for the client who purchased RTP within the past couple of months

LibertyHound, I respect your opinion but if the EA were working that great you would not have seen this many people demanding a refund. Again, this is wasn't a $97, $197 or even a $297 EA. When you spend that kind of money you expect certain results. I was actually considering a much cheaper EA that also shown positive results but after reading Doug Price's background and seeing the results for the past year I decided to give it a try. Just so you know I've been running the EA since I bought it the 1st week in December. While demo testing in December I had decent results but January and February have been bad. Just because I don't post my results doesn't mean I'm not running it. In fact most of my trades match the vendor's almost exactly to the pip and as you can see the vendor's account is doing horribly. You call it what you want...complaining or whatever. I call it getting what I paid for. You say it's the market causing the losses for GBP....if that were true then Vortex should be having trouble also which it clearly does not. It accurately recognizes the trend and applies the correct order and wins with a greater than 90% accuracy. If you don't want the new version of RTP that's your business, but for those of us who would like it, we should be given the option to use it. Just my 10 cents.... :)

If you could bind the logic of VTP into RTP, why not selling VTP to who bought RTP in a very good price (especially to who bought RTP in the past couple months), then we could activate each EAs seperately, such as we could disable RTP and let VTP continue to run now a day. Vice verse, binding the logic of VTP inside RTP, then we have no choice to either disable or enable both at the same time.

looks like instead of improving rev trader, he would rather create a new EA and sell that and make more money on sales...
