haha,we are discussing this ea,but rev,keltnerpro,vtp,and ForexVentureBot all run at Synergy FX broker.

without this Synergy FX broker,keltnerpro,vtp and rev all works well and got the very similar results.

so @RedRhino we wait you analysis of forexventurebot's strategy,that's possibility?

Sorry if i jump in; i am not a part of the Donnaforex staff, but i post there on daily basis and for sure is the most fair and honest place discussing forex and all related argument. Yes, Synergy FX is the site sponsor but Donnaforex never sponsored forexventure bot
If you are looking for a place where traders seriously share opinions and impressions on forex trading Donnaforex is the right place

Yes I would support this also. Synergy FX site sponsorship helps to keep the board running, plus an commissions if people do choose the affiliate links for EAs. There is no censorship and if an EA isn't doing well it will get a thrashing on the forum. It's one of my goto places:)

I am sure it will be a stock photo of Blake on the forex Venture Bot (and the stories on these sales pages are almost certainly embelished if not completely made up to help boost sales), pluses are it's with Clickbank not click2sell etc, so much easier for refunds, and the price is also less than half of Rev or Vortex.

Has two different Sell Logics, ( One reversal, One trend continuation) working on H1 Timeframe. Systematic trading system with consistent rule based entry and exit. I can probably have a running copy within a week. Any help with Manual or backtest of FVB much appreciated.

Donna community is filled with good people but joining forces with a broker which pushes out commercial EA's with incentives for an affiliate bonus isn't right - https://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=4813.0 - However you look at the angle, either do one or the other. Be an IB or be an affiliate for EA products. Doing both creates the issues that we're seeing now.

I have 1 simple rule, I only use brokers that offer cTrader platform .

Any broker with only MT4 are bucket shops that can in house all trades because a data feed doesn't require liquidity. With mt4 you can do anything you want including changing spreads, have no slippage, readjust Candle prices. It was designed for the market maker broker and will never be a true ECN platform. MT4 includes a broker plugin to cheat traders. It has been documented and metaquotes removes all sources to these documentations to keep it a secret.

A broker that offers cTrader is connected to liquidity because cTrader only works with FIX connector to real ecn liquidity.

Birt EA review, has PrivateFX brokerage with conditions that one else can get. I would rather see a demo account then look at accounts running EA's at a private brokerage using MT4 platform.

The fact that synergyFX only offers mt4 can be very misleading. All results can be tailored. No commission, no slippage, the change of bars to make a trade close at profit are all very possible. You can in house everything and never send 1 order to true liquidity. Once you send an order to true liquidity you will experience slippage and real world risk in real world scenarios. If you operate your own brokerage ( simply lease the MT4 platform for 10k) you have access to MT4 trade history statements. This doesn't mean you are trading with real conditions.

You can build some EA's with what ever settings and publish the good ones while the bad ones are never disclosed. Its similar to the Forex Peace Army Demo Account Expert Advisors in the past where developers run 10-100 demo accounts and only publish the good results to FPA. FPA were aware of these developer tricks and forced only LIVE accounts to prevent abuse.

However, if you run your own bucket shop it might as well be the same concept.

BT is one thing but before I really trust a system/EA, I would love to FT it on demo accounts. If a system's entry/exit accuracy is quite good, and the order placement doesn't depend on speed of execution, then FT on a demo account should yield similar results to that on a Real account.

You want to run a forward test on demo for free? Is that what you mean?

This system doesn't scalp. The average Pip Expectancy is 9.5 Pips per trade with an average duration of 9 hours. It is also locking in more pips in profit than RTP and able to trade on all pairs with a profit factor of 3.18. With a price tag of 199, its quite cheap for a solid trading system. I haven't had time, I backtested EURUSD only and am using the setfile for all pairs. I haven't optimized any other currency pairs despite the great results. I released the BT version because I know we can fine tune the setting for other pairs for more profits.

Yes Frank, you can make it expire after a couple of weeks, make sure it runs only on demo accounts, protect it with a dll etc etc, right?

I forgot to mention that you also need Data from the Daily TimeFrame. Without Daily Data, the system won't fire a trade.

You can create the Daily Bar data by using the Script " Period Converter "on the M1 Offline chart with an input of "1440" . The script will make the Daily bars from the M1 data.

not sure what axe you have to grind against Donna Forex or Synergy FX, but let me just state a couple things:

I manage Donna Forex. Anyone that knows anything about retail forex knows it is one of the *top* forums that has people who know what they are talking about and yet have integrity. Its not like FPA with a million fake reviews. If an EA or broker is discussed there, it gets a fair and honest analysis by all - Donna Forex has optional affiliate links for some (but not all) rev trader products, but those are just rebate deals we pass most of the commission back to the buyer, no way do we scam anyone.

And Synergy FX is the *only* site sponsor, and has been for nearly a year. They invest alot to keep the site going, and we have a new site redesign rollout coming very soon with MAJOR extra content for members. They have *never* interfered in the Donna Forex discussion of ALL brokers, and have insisted that our discussions remain uncensored (within the rules of not being abusive or slanderous) - all they get from Donna Forex are a banner and a few sticky topics. They have been incredibly supportive to work with, and are a *top* notch broker. Their management has years of trading and finance experience in government and corporate capacities, believe me when I say they are the furthest thing from a bucket shop. Believe what you will. I dont believe that it is a coincidence that EAs perform better on them. I think theor performance is superor, especially with their new "Hybrid" accounts. There are members of Donna Forex attacking them who are actually reps of other brokers who are jealous of the attention, and thats fine. To each their own.

I've removed the Backtest version because I've made several changes to the code since the initial BT version and I'll complete the backtests

@mythostrading AKA odysseus11 Administrator - For DonnaForex - Post your affiliate review on the synergyFX broker discussion. https://www.myfxbook.com/reviews/brokers/synergy-fx/147217,1 - Don'y be a dark shadow trying to fill in the gaps when you can't shed any real light on the situation besides an opinion which is biased anyways.
