Wasn't this EA proven to be defunct a long time ago??? I thought the developer manually closes and monitors some of the trades, also uses a broker that allows data manipulation, etc? What am I missing here?

The vendor added to the offering to accept the signals as they are on his account, to remove the variable of many different Broker feeds, that at times did not match his account.
I started with the EA directly using Tallinex, where my trades were good, and largely matched the vendor (Doug), but decided to move to the Signal to ensure stability and have Doug disable when he feels news or other scenarios do not seem favorable for trades.
So the current myfxbook account trades are what everyone can get when using the Signals, which have still been quite good..... just use good money mgt in case of a loss is encountered.

Both EAs have their benefits.
Read over the pages and decide which you prefer. Or you can also use both they compliment each other.
Marketorder - read Todompoll post, that's what's going on. Most people moved to my trade copier service, and do well with that.

Does the vendors signal fees equate somehow to the outright purchase? He makes no mention of an optional signal service on his site.

When you purchase you get instant access to the signal software. The purchase = signal fee.

Because those using the latest v2.7 are connected to my server and the EA was turned off for them to protect them from news.

Sorry to hear Shann, that's why I use the trade copier. Price feed from different brokers can affect results. On a side note, can I say you are very brave trading today given the Greek situation. It would be advisable to turn off any EA's trading EUR pairs this week.

I also didnt get those trades. You will recover it though so don't worry too much. Just move to the trade copier version.

Why you dont send emails to the ea users as soon as you turn on/off your signal copier so that they do the same? I thought you said that you send email to ea users so that they turn off or they turn back on......

Hi, can some experienced users please give advice.
I am looking for an automated system that gives steady growth without large drawdown, ie <20%.
This system seems to fit the bill, would you recommend this system and are there various options that I should consider, ie, EA or trade copier? a specific broker?, VPS?. I have an unused Oanda live account and also a live Futures account with another company when I followed a signal provider. The futures signals made small growth, but only about 5% over a year, which I fealt wasn't worth the effort. I am now looking for a new system.
I would be looking to trade with about £3000 initially, is this enough?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated.
