The Hikkake pattern resembles a three inside up pattern but with no constraints. The Hikkake pattern doesn’t require a down trend nor does it matter the direction of the candles as they both are in the three inside up candlestick pattern.
The pattern can signal both a continuation of the trend or a reversal which depends on the direction of the breakout (below or above a previous high or low).
