You can see from the history that it's mainly a grid strategy buying Gold, which has worked very well with the recent surge in Gold price in the past few months. But more needs to be seen on what would happen if Gold has a sharp pullback, to know whether the strategy can handle a drawdown safely.

Thanks for the honest answer. I guess people will just need to decide for themselves if they are happy to take that tiny but real risk that the account could be margin called one day...However, I would say there are certainly other ways to trade safely and profitably in the long term. The accounts under my profile are good examples.😉

Thanks for the detailed reply.It still worries me though...even if the Reversal (or Revenge?) trade is highly accurate, let's say 99% accurate...eventually you would come across that 1% where the reversal trade fails, and you will be in deep trouble.I know it has survived the test of time until now, but I am not sure if there is any plan B if the Reversal trade fails? Does it have a hard stoploss or will it just keep the trade open until the account is margin called?...😞

I appreciate you being polite. I have nothing against you personally and I believe your current stats may very well be real. But I feel it's a danger sign that you may be manipulating your past results to lure people into investing into your system, and while your system may be profitable now, it may eventually hit a large loss like many other systems do.I do hope you can sustain the growth as we are all here trading Forex to make money, but please don't try to manipulate your past results (or URLs) and deny it and then block people just because they pointed out what doesn't seem r...

Lol same here...got blocked by Forex21 after I pointed out the Myfxbook account number in his screenshot didn't seem right...those users who posted later trying to back him up also seemed dodgy...Don't forget he had already been caught using multiple usernames on the Donna Forex Forum when he was selling the Swap Master software, before he got kicked out of there. 😉

This is probably one of the rare systems that has actually survived the test of time. But while the long term growth looks impressive, it actually risks a lot for the 1.88% average growth per month.For example it had a scary drop in equity in April 2020 which it fortunately survived. It sold 385 lots on EU and it would have ended very badly if the trade didn't go the right way. That's exactly the risk with systems that avoid closing losing trades/baskets - you will never have a losing trade/basket - but when you do, that one trade/basket will wipe out your whole account.😭

.Myfxbook account number 53160 belongs to another account that was opened in 2010: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/123extra/fx4u-1686637/53160And if your account in the screenshot was really opened in March 2020, the Myfxbook account number should have 7 digits, not 6.

If a system has a long term edge over the market, then of course increasing the trading size as the account grows will magnify the profit.What I was trying to say is that some systems seem profitable when they use martingale lot sizes, but they won't actually be profitable using fixed lot. If a system has a real long term edge, then it should also be able to beat the market trading just with fixed lot, without having to rely on increasing the trading lot size to make recovery.

Well if a system has had 35000+ trades and still remains positive then it is possible it has a long term edge over the market. The next step would be to put it into live trading and see if it performs similar to the backtest.Also you should try and backtest and see if the return will also remain positive without having to increase the trade size. A long term profitable strategy should be profitable even if you just use the same lot size for each trade.

Martingale and grid systems will never work in the long term unless the strategy itself has a long term statistical edge over the market.It’s just the same as there has never been a betting system that will work against the casino in the long term - except cardcounting in Blackjack which has been banned or rendered useless with automatic shuffling machines by the casinos.The bottomline is you need to have a strategy that has a LONG TERM EDGE over the market. It is hard to do but not impossible, which we have demonstrated with our Smart Forex Expert EAs.😄
