Price action based system... trades infrequently... but high reward:risk (6:1 to 10:1) per trade...
Risk per trade is 1% of account.

completly wrong! "price" "action" means as it describes, we trade the price value! no indis, no trend lines, nothing! only the price is relevant, you can trade the price on all tf, at every session.

You're completely wrong... the system is completely lacking in indicators, trend lines, etc... only price action (false break pin bars) Investigate a little further before you judge and make inaccurate statements

useless...pa cant trade infequently!!!! every price value (tick) can be traded, up, down, side - if you say your system ist pa and it trades infrequently, there must be rules which prevents to open orders! at this point it isnt pa, because other rules (false break) then the price value are active...and this (your system) is not pa!...learn the basics please only trading the price value is pa, every other rules like trend, pattern, false break, or other rules, is never trading pure price action aka the price value!

** The TOPIC and CHALLENGE is still the SAME since 2013: +5% average monthly profit for at least 2 years (with less than -25% max. DD) at a mainstream broker (preferably non-grid) **
Does such a strategy exist at all...??
So far nobody could show such a single account... (The 'famous' newstraders' claim is not acceptable because of their cherry-picked account compilation.)

M.H.O. ProFXManager ... YOU'RE WRONG... EA trades Pin Bars which break above/below a Mother Bar and or an Inside Bar. It combines 2 BASIC PRICE ACTION phenomena (Pin Bars, Inside Bars) so perhaps you need to learn the basics of Price Action. The EA determines which setups to trade based on Parameters associated with the Inside Bar, Mother Bar and Pin Bar (ie. how long the tail of the Pin Bar is, how far above/below the mother bar high or low the Pin Bar tail breaks... etc. Please do not attempt to criticize or educate people on something you know nothing about (my system)

i do not criticize any system i dont know, i target only your wrong terms in pa! inside bars are pattern! and pattern have rules, the one and only pure price action is trading the price value only!! not a pattern, not the shadows, not inside, not false break, not trend lines, ....
trading the pure price (value) is the master class of pa! all others are pattern trading (1-2-3,...) trend line trading, strength trading, breakout trading, its rule based! and so on - THIS IS NOT PA TRADING! open your minds and see what the price is doing! no more is needed!

What we call Price Action is the action within the candle itself... or combined with another one.
A pin bar reversal... and we will talk about price action.
All the day market was trying to make it higher.. and before the end of the day, market reverses sharply... We say Price Action has given a strong sell signal. (Price Action is simply the solfège of the chart)

i know what he and you mean, but strictly only the (current) price value, ohlc should be named price action,
all other versions must be combined with the rules like: price action pattern trading, price action trend (line) trading, price action inside bar trading and so on! clear?
pattern uses ohlc per definition
trend uses ohlc, if exponential is used=indicator trading!

Easily possible. http://www.myfxbook.com/members/andyl913/vsasyndicate-trading-journal/1225124
but I don't have 2 years of history yet.
Drawdown can be lowered if my monthly target is lowered, but this what I'm comfortable with for myself.

Looking at the entire trade history - since MARCH 18th - I can see:
1. -0.45% Average Monthly LOSS
WITH
2. -92.2% Max. Drawdown
These results are simply way too far from the stated conditions of average monthly profit of +5% with max. DD below 25%... Not to mention the two years requirement...

What do you think of the following. As far as I can see meets the criteria. >5% monthly profit. 2 years & < 25% DD. One criteria I would add that you haven't is avg win is > than avg loss. The only dodgy point is the the broker. Maltese regulated broker, hmmm don't like it.

@Donex
You are right: the 'dodgy point' is the broker.
Over the past years there have been many 'phenomenal' verified performance results on MyFxBook, but - suspiciously - all of them running at less or non-reputable (i.e. non-mainstream) brokers.
The problem with it is that some 'boiler room' brokers CREATE (i.e. make up) nice performance results just to recruit unsuspecting customers who can watch their PAPER PROFITS grow, until the broker falls off the Earth and gone with all the deposits (and paper profits). In other words: they run a Ponzi scheme, similarly to what Bernie Madoff created.
As mentioned by the 'manager': 'Evolution and its trading is preserved for MAM investors only.' It means that an investor can use only one specific and less reputable broker. Which is suspicious enough already.
Should they be able to show the same results on a separate real account running at an ASIC regulated broker (e.g. ICM, Pepperstone, AxiTrader, etc), then the credibility of this and similar results would be much higher.
The usual respond to this suggestion is: 'We are successful enough and we do not have to prove anything to anybody...'

Thanks, Hiroo59.
FPA is a good reference point, but unfortunately not fool-proof in this regard.
Some brokers manage to hide their s**t for a long-long time. Like Bernie Madoff was able to cover up his multi-billion dollar Ponzi-scheme for many years.

@Look009
That is correct Alex, but sometimes the warnings come too late, even on FPA... Unfortunately, well-designed broker Ponzi-schemes can go on for years. Nevertheless, screening by FPA (and by a Google 'scam' search) is a 'must' before signing up with any broker, and any red flags should be taken seriously.
The safest is to use only mainstream and reputable brokers registered in highly regulated countries.
