you can see that my entries were somewhat late. cause I was not at home or in front to PC when best entry points were made, so, no trading for now. I will connect demo to myfxbook too for 1 month before going live. then it will be trading.

np. due this EA capture the keystrokes I can trade during weekend and test different strategies manually. it is quite complicated but works well. currently I am trading manually on 2011 with faster bar movements.

Exactly, I think moving to higher time frame might improve results. Lower time frames require a lot of attention and very high level of self control. i personally can trade 5-15 min when I have time as I shown last summer but it is pretty stressful and I am not that young. I hope my swing trading plan will work this time as I am getting better at understanding what and how markets move. I personally would prefer to swing trade rather than day trade.

I had tested over 1000 s or may be 10000 s of different setups in last 3 years. what is good for Long is good for Short after some bars/Hours/Days. believe me.
I had many EA s that work for certain time period. but does not work for all.
Eg. search Robin Hood Fund. their EA coded on basis of "İf price move certain PIPS EA opens trades same direction and willing to move the price their favor. reverse of MDP.
they did good profit in 2011 but then suddenly start loosing.
the reason is simple.
when I BT 2011 price makes very fast and extended moves to one direction. but in Last 6 months it is not. for now it is not as wild as it used to be in 2011 EA failed dramaticly.
Why I stop coding EA and start manual trading again with EA help is this. trades must adapt the market mood. we have been discussed that topic with you. Human brain can adapt faster. but the issue is the mental control.
So I am focusing on that and working to fix it with smaller time frames with high frequency trades regarding to the 1 H or bigger charts.

the EA I am using wright now is NOT MAKING ANY DESECION for Trades.
It is
- handling the SL TP
- checking some broker manuplations and tricks
- drawing TL s
- telling me what crossed what
and some other features.
So I can only focus on trades and chart.
desecions are taking by me.

Winsor systems are the same. had a good profitable period then a very dramatic lost.
MDP already stop working. due extended price moves are ended for the time being and when price move does not extended the rectract is not enough to make profit.
most probably for FGB will start a flat or down trend.

have look at the "diagonal" crossing through the cross points of up & down channels.
this may also called as "0" level and the lenght can be called current period.

I am not a fan of systems. I think there must be plans based upon probabilities, stop and profit that is bigger than possible loss and trader should be able to be flexible as situation changes. all comes to experience and self control.

but there is a but;
think that way, if you are marketer you can discuss with your client and you can bring him to your idea. but in the market there is no such chance. will power can not effect market itself(client) in trading. So we need a referance point to trade. I think this must me most common tool that used by most of the traders to find a common point. it can be MA s or some other tools. but should be as simple as possible. then will power will effect our desecions according that ref point.

Steve, it refers to trader developing like a trader and not giving up despite on set backs. it is not about markets... it is about trader's mind.

agree about the trader mind.
but the strongest mental man can not trade with cont loosing. it breaks at some point.
so they both has to come togather.
