When most market decisions are made outside of it, I don't think AI can perform successfully.

I believe AI is already performing well. I have been trading for the past 8 years which has been very lucrative for me. Recently came across a platform which uses AI to trade. They dont give you promises of the moon and stars but logical profits. I have been in it for over a year now. And I can say that it is as promised. I placed $5000 to copy the AI Trading and received a fair profit. If many more come up in the future this would a great passive income opportunity. I saw the opportunity and grabbed it.
The data is definitely not processable but there is algorithm in AI which can be used to analyze indicators.

Would agree with you on this. But I believe AI can be fully be used for trades without guarantee of 100% profit. Maybe around 70% profit is safe to say it is possible. AI analyze vast amounts of data and identify patterns way faster than any human can. Which means in case of an unexpected event, losses can be minimized and the profit trade can be placed to cover the losses. It is a lot to discuss. But I would say high chances are AI will make better trades than Humans.

Not wrong on your side. 100% profit is just unreal. I am using an AI which gives a logical 70% profit per annum. So there will be a loss as well but main thing is there is sustainable profits.

not really, i use a robot i coded myself and got 5400% in abs. gain, and 900% in gain, in only 5 months

I pretty much use AI to generate strategies; the success of it depends on whose hands it is in. There's a myriad amount of features that need to be considered when going down this path that require a human input, you can't simply tell AI to generate strategies on "x" symbol. There's a significant learning curve to getting it right.
Mottos are corny. Just find an edge, test it rigorously and trade it.

I am currently using AI to make my trades while I trade myself on the side. It is just for passive income. Has been lucrative so far.

AI in trading definitely has huge potential. It can process tons of data way faster than any human and make decisions based on that, which is great for risk management.
