Good day all! I currently trade through Pepperstone that is located in Australia. I have traded with this company for 4 years now. They have recently sent me a message saying that my accounts will be shut down because one of my directors is based out of the US. However my company is found in Dominica. How can this be that after all this time they are now saying this? Great question considering all the information that I have provided for them since the get go is the same information that they have now.

I'm looking for a brokerage that is much like Pepperstone. They have been a great company but it seems that there are so many out there, and furthermore, much harder to find one that accepts US clients. The reason I want this is because I enjoy having much more leverage but also very tight spreads.

Please let me know of any brokerages that fit these categories. Please and thank you!

If you are in the US then your options are quite limited. I think FXCM is probably the best of a bad bunch

Broker is a big deal when it is time to make sure a successful trading life, because the broker can affects the result of our trading with certainly, we the traders can choose a broker which is more appropriate to the concept of trading that will be used, if you love doing scalping should choose the broker which allows trading concept such as this.

So true, we need to focus on our specific trading requirements; but regulation is the 1st priority.

Try TurnkeyFX. Low commissions, good execution, high volume, low spreads, excellent customer service, based in London but unregulated so they can accept US customers, you can speak to live people on the phone, they response quickly to emails, and are highly rated on forex peace army.

@nick3232 mentioned finpro. I was also considering finpro until I learned they use TurnkeyFX's trading servers, and you pay more in commissions to Finpro, so I decided to cut out the middle man and go with Turnkey.

MORE HORRIBLE ADVICE.
DO NOT USE UNREGULATED BROKERS.
YOU WILL HAVE NO PROTECTION IF YOU DO.

And then of course there is this review about them (TurnkeyFX).

Always do your homework before using ANY brokerage.

The trading spreads is a big deal when choosing a broker, actually according to our trading experience the traders we have always choose our trading spreads. Fixed and volatile trading spreads we have. From my first day of trading I have been using fixed trading spreads which is very supportive to make a great trading plan , and exact trading plan always supportive to get maximal result by trading.

I don't know of any broker better than Profiforex.com They have tight spreads, 500:1 Leverage that isn't limited by account size, swap free option and accept US customers, And Allow lot sizes up to 10,000 lots for a micro and 1,000 lots for Standard accounts with 200/300 position limits respectively. The biggest downside is that at the moment they have some issues with Metaquotes so they don't have mobile mt4 but they have an alternate platform they call mt7 that has some nice features like being able to change the lot size on pending orders and partially closing positions just by changing the lot size. I've been dealing with them for years with no real problems except my lack of restraint in over trading (to many positions to close together).
If you are makeing less than 100% a month you aren't doing it right!

I'm pretty shocked at the kind of scams these brokers are using. Seem to be running black holes for your money. I thought that non UK, US, Aussie, regulated brokers would still be generally OK as they must have some kind of basic retail regulation but I guess not

Do FXCM still take small investors? I used to use them but they 'sold' my account to Forex.com.

Same thing with TradersWay. Their options keep changing and not for the better.
