How to choose a regulated forex broker?

I don't agree totally. Regulation is important we all know it is a crucial element, but these days there are tones of regulated brokers, which however offer crap services, or at least sub-optimal and not that good. Spreads and commissions are everything (of course when we talk of secure regulated brokers). If we get low commissions, low overnight rates, low spreads and low all the time not only two hours a day than we can surely say we have a wining solution. Platform is important, but mostly for automated traders, for manual traders mt4/mt5 works totally fine. Just an example, OANDA - highly reputable, regulated broker but spreads are all over the place. Be careful and look for more than just regulation, because regulations says nothing about the quality of the services, quality of the support etc.

It also depend on the services they provide. For example I like trading binary options, but the only regulated choice in North America is NADEX so be careful of what kind of broker you are searching for.

Spreads and of course the exact assets they provide. For example there are brokers where I can find a specific stock to trade and I can choose only for that reason to trade with them.

First of all, I like the platform that they have, it's the most beautiful and easy to use platform that I ever tried. Although I didn't try them all, they offer over 270 financial instruments - a pretty big choice in my opinion. Of course, we don't choose a broker only by its platform (if it has one), and by the financial instruments that he has. The spreads play the biggest role in the end. But also don't blame your broker for your loses, it's not his fault that you can't control yourself.

Never heard of them

Where are you from? They're popular in the UK, but the rest of the world might have heard of them also. When I've done the Forex course, my teacher listed us the best brokers we can start with and I chose Investors. Although I was a novice when I have chosen them and I didn't know almost anything about brokers, it turned out to be a good broker.

Exactly, trading with new FX broker is very risky! Since, it’s a challenging business & a number of new brokers are unable to keep continuing their service!

Well said; and there is no way to trade with a non-regulated Forex broker!

choosing a broker should in cool mind. Please don’t choose a broker in an emotional state because most of the brokers are found to be scams. And despite of good trading knowledge that’s not possible at all to make profit constancy without a reliable support form a reliable broker.
