Many have pointed out what it takes to be successful in trading and here are lots of pearls :-)
The most important aspects for me are being aware of when my greed kicks in, patience, consistency, not listening to FOMO, and sticking to my values, strategies and money management.

I've noticed that the same help me as well! Never listen to others that try to guarantee they can make you successful and instead, rely on yourself.

Really like this quote. This underpins trading and is often disregarded by beginners who fail to see the bigger picture.

To start with trading, make sure you understand how the market works and with time learn to adapt changes, last but not the least stay disciplined and never ever lose your patience.

1.Trade like a business, not as a passion or a profession.

A good trader is someone who is willing to learn from mistakes continuously. The essentials of successful trading are that one should always use a trading plan, treat trading like a business, use technology to your advantage and always use a stop loss.
