Hi,
i try to understand the gain calculation of myfxbook (twr).
So the calculated gain should be -30.26% with only 2 trades and 1 deposit.

i use this formular: http://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_11

so lets use the following values:
profit_1 = -320,06
balance_1_open = 400

profit_2 = -24,19
balance_2_open = 79,94

gain per trade is correct, if i use the formular only for 1 trade at a time
first trade -80,02
second trade -30.26

so far so good.

lets use the formular for both trades:

(( -320,06/400 +1) * (-24,19/79,94 +1) -1)*100 = ??
((0,19985 * 0,69739805)-1)*100 = -86.0625 % BUT it should be -30.26% according to the myfxbook value ...


i hope someone can explain me what i'm doing wrong. i just use the formular (http://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_11), should be fine mhhh... ;(
