Hello everybody!
How many chances do I have to earn money on Forex market?
I am a newbie. I have only negative experience, lose $800 in 2007 by trading manually. I have made only two trades to lose.
Nowadays I have interest in automated trading robots. Is it worth to try Forex again? Could you share your story of success? Or everybody lose money in trading?
I have already asked in Russian-speaking forum, but got no answer, only some replies with paid trading courses.

It is important to note that around 95% of traders in the world loose money consistently and only 5% of the traders gain money. I have around 15 to 20 years experience in trading by now and so I am summarizing 3 golden rules of forex success.
3 Rules of Forex:

1.Keep realistic expectations in terms of profit gain from your trading system. If you have set a unrealistic target in terms of monthly % return and drawdown %, then you may continue to loose for ever even while using the best EA or trading system of the world.
2.Try to use a semi-automated kind of system or EA from which you can learn while it is trading for you. Full automated EAs may or may not work always since markets keep changing everyday and automated EAs will keep the emotions out of trading.
3. Never spend or invest money in forex which you can't afford to loose. Money spent in forex is equal to money lost. Approaching with this mind set will free you from manipulating profitable trading systems.
There can be many other things you need to focus to actually start making profit, but if you forget any of the above 3 rules, then you will ultimately loose year after year.

One of the ways to learn all the subtleties of Forex is to analyze the work of professionals, asking them questions.
In my field of activity I communicate with PAMM-managers, who communicate directly with their investors and answer their questions.

Hello, everyone!
I have traded real account and losses are real money. During a demo trading period I had many success trades and positive account statement. But real trade was a nightmare, loose money in three days. Demo trade experience lasted four years and I have win a traders contest.
Nowadays I do not trade.

Do lots of practice and learn on demo account before going to live, make sure to keep patience while learning forex.

practice is important in demo , no way to deny but as a beginner that is really difficult to continue.

I guess every trader start his career with losing, or at least its what i heard a lot :D. first try to learn your way about different trading style, then come up with a good risk management plan that can revive you when you are losing a lot and then start demo trading, when you strted getting positive balance monthly, then start trading real money.

Disagree! if we educate first and be careful enough it won't bo loss which we start with. we hust need to be patient

I agree @therealprovider and no @copybank every website is not for advertising this was for a decade before nowadays we have websites to provide people with useful and helpful informations.
