Journal; Need help

Hi guys! I just joined the forums. Finally someone to talk trading :D
Last 2 years i was trading without journal and now i see how much information i could have by now.
Will start with pen and paper but i would like to make it digital. Does anyone have an Excell spreadsheet to share? I could probably do it myself but not so good with formulas and calculations.
I was also thinking to start publishing tradingview ideas as a good visual journal but would also like to make it private, not sure is that possible.
How you do the journaling?

Unless you are planning on sharing your tips or strategies, it is probably better be done in private. I always keep mine in private.

as a newcomer generally the target we select is not realistic, this is the main problem we have and for that reason we cant fill up our target completely, we have to make sure the target according to our knowledge and experience , over targeting make make us always greedy and emotional. so be careful

Knowledge is the key to success in Forex. There is nobody who can make success from here without knowledge . so we have to emphasis on acquiring real trading knowledge and we can get most powerful analyzing trade knowledge by passing a long time. Otherwise that’s not possible at all.

Hey, if you ask me, you can find all these formulas and stuff online. If not, there's got to be something like that on the forum somewhere. I also like that you want to make your journal private, not public. This way, you'll be able to analyze your mistakes and know exactly what is best for YOU, rather than for some unknown user. I hope you can do that, good luck!

Hey! That sounds great to me that you want to make your own trading journal. It's a little tedious but very useful. Your trading will be much better with this journal than it was without it. You've got my full support, it's a good thing. Good luck to you! :)

Many brokers provide trading journals. Some have privacy settings.
