A Drawdown Issue with Investors - Recommending a show of a Second Drawdown討論
To all,
I recommend the representation of a Second Drawdown to be shown.
The Drawdown that is currently displayed by myfxbook is calculated based on floating/open positions.
The Second Drawdown that I am talking about is the Drawdown shown in the Actual cTrader Platform which is based on the Maximum Amount of Balance Drawdown which is calculated on the Amount and Number of Trades lost against the overall Available Balance of the account. The Profit minus Losing Trades.
( As described on the cTrader Platform )
Balance = Deposits - Withdrawals + Credit + Total Realised Profit & Loss
The reason for this is the difference of how the Drawdown is shown and calculated between the cTrader and myfxbook.
Eg:
Account # 1
cTrader Maximum Balance Drawdown : 0.30%
Myfxbook Drawdown : 82.01%
Account #2
cTrader Maximum Balance Drawdown : 0.00%
Myfxbook Drawdown : 35.58%
This causes a lot of issues because the investor considers the Drawdown as shown by myfxbook and completely ignores the Acutal Drawdown shown on the cTrader platform which indicates that the losses if any are quite minimal as compared to the Profits and on which basis the Drawdown is calculated.
This is to make sure that investors can evaluate and base their decisions on the Actual Profit and Loss on an Account. Floating positions/ Floating Loss will always be there till they all close in Profit.
If everyone can vote for this it will help others who are also seeking investors.
Regards,
Adil
