So, I really have not found my mojo, got in the groove, entered the zone,got the eye of the tiger, jacked in, or anything even remotely related to being focused on trading. It has become clear to me that I may need to postpone and in some cases suspend my nightly activities that are not related to my financial goals. There was a time when 1,000.00 per night was the norm for me. Now, I can't even seem to get my feet wet. Maybe I'm just not confident, maybe I'm just not focused, maybe its because I'm just starting to het my feet wet again. Who knows.?.? What I do know is, I may not even hit my 1,000.00 per week goal. I'll give it some time and try not to push too hard.
Beginning November, I really do need to be making over a 1,000.00 per day on average.

When the Entourage recovers from this latest drawdown I will be turning it off. At this point the risk/reward ratio is not as favorable as I would like it to be. I will be turning it back on starting Dec 1st. with the account funded at 30,000.00
This robot requires an enormous amount of capital to run safely. When it draws down, it leaves very little capital for my manual trades.
The plan:
30k total account equity by Nov, 30th. (No help from the EA)
Nov 30th. or Dec 1st. Turn the Entourage back on running 3 pairs (No manual trades for the holiday season for me)
Jan 2013 Begin manual trading again without the Entourage.
Yes, I'm all over the place right now, kinda searching for direction. As long as profits continue to go up, I'll be just fine.

The Entourage is still running. No, i did not turn it off, I still feel as if i should though. Weekly goal was met earlier this week 😲MONDAY😲

I turned off the Entourage robots until the account hits 30,000.00 on November 30th. Feels lonely now LOL!!!😝The robot can suck up needed liquidity for my manual trades.

So, I screwed up and hit the BUY button instead of the SELL button at the top of an overbought chart. The retrace happened so fast i was down a couple hundred dollars. Usually I would immediately dive in (EMOTIONALLY) and try to save the position. This time I kept a cool head and waited for a new signal on a smaller time frame. I went in heavy and made it out with a 20.00 loss. Total gain for the day is 223.28😝

It does feel lonely without it though. I may turn it back on for the month of December. I don't plan to trade that month, so i"m thinking about letting the robot put in work for me. 😁

The weekly goal of 1,000.00 has been met.
I did turn off the robot😞. It feels weird looking at my cellphone and seeing no open positions on my mobile App.😕 The good part is, no stress, wondering if today is the day that my robot will throw itself off of a ledge and take my account with it. 😇
I am currently on track to hit the November goal. Have a good weekend.

So, what did I learn? This can only be done on a 1hr chart.😳. I just experienced an epic fail on the 15min. Now, time to crunch New numbers according to the 1hr now. Will begin trading again in less than a week. My initial deposit is still intact less 99.00usd

Yep, I'm just happy that I made it out with my initial deposit intact. I tried a 1hr trading style on a 15min chart. It did not work. Cost me all profits for the year. No SLs. I don't trade with them.

I'm back trading on the 1hr chart. Also, I am no longer leaving profits in the account. All profits are now being swept into a separate (Safe) account once or twice a week. I Think its better to capture profits rather than let them remain in the trading account at risk.

I just had to do it!! Traded the 15min chart again, lost my shirt this time. Oh well, at least now I know, without a doubt, that it absolutely will not work. The money is tempting but its just not worth the risk. May take months to rebuild. Sad that I had to learn the lesson this way. The reason why I document my thoughts on a public forum is to serve as a reminder. Sometimes, we traders tend to try and re write history so that we are ok with the losses. Not this time. It was clearly a violation of my trading rule that caused this loss. I will never violate this rule again.

It's going to be a slow climb out of this hole. Because of the loss, I now have to reduce lot sizes.
