but only a >6 month live track record is useful, everything else ist hypothetical, because there are no real buyers and sellers in backtesting and forward demo!!!
private history is not a good start with so much losers...>2:1 crv...

Hello Ixbone I keep my history private just to protect the strategy. It is not so much about how much losing trades as it is about risk to reward ratio. That is my secret. You can see that drawdown is considerably low. However am still developing the Ea and trying to develop a formular to increase number of wins.

your Eas look interesting trading on indices rather than forex pairs. However with such short duration trades of only seconds it would need to be tested in a real account to see how it performs, as often Eas with short durations can work in demo accounts without slippage etc, but won't work in real accounts. I look forward to seeing some real accounts on your profile soon:) good luck!

KK....Will get real account soon still need a little more time with demo to see pitfalls of EA. I think slippage can be controlled using pending orders at a considerable distance from open market price. Not too sure though, still working on that.

I was hoping to start a real account as soon as I get my passport but something very strange happened today. After 15:14gmt, my broker went off. None of the tradable instruments were working so all my robots couldnt work. I have sent a complaint and was told will be replied within 24hrs. Pipmaker and Professor volatility should have crossed 6000 percent by now. In addition my broker does not allow lots higher than hundred nor give leverage bigger than 1:100. This means after any of my accounts reach 20000 dollars, the growth rate of the account will slow down.l However I am still searching for other broker alternatives. If you know a broker using gmt+00 and trades indices, kindly let me know. Thankyou

Guys just saw tthe reason the professor is in real trouble. Broker is varying spreads between 10 points and 20 points. Originally it was suppose to be 10 points fixed. This has adversely affected the strategy because am being charged twice the original spread price. I expected a little drawdown around this time but it was getting too much till I saw this issue with the spread.

Lucky you were still testing demo account. I had the same problem with a live account once with stock.com they doubled the fixed spread during the asian session.
