You will not know if your strategy works until you test it in a live account which makes demo accounts useless.

Do you have a New Years Trading Resolution?

Yes, that is true. They will have floating losses but so far as I can recall they always manage to turn them around. It is up to traders if they like to hold on to those losses. Their analysts always give stop loss levels for traders to use.

Well, so far so good. The first two months have been great and I averaged over 1,000 pips per month. I hope I will continue down this path.

When it comes down to it, each traders should do as they think is best. I do not like demo accounts and when I first started to trade I went live from the start.
