that was a good question. glad you asked it, for it led me to find that FXCM has " Mirror Trader " which we were not aware of before you asked. personally looking forward to getting to know this service because it looks very interesting. (i am a retail trader and not an employee of FXCM)

then if your really want to go down the rabbit hole you can Google MT4 indicators or MQL4 and you will find forums such as: forexfactory.com and forex-tsd.com // best of luck

open the MT4 MetaQuotes Language Editor (F4) from the terminal and look in the toolbox. you will find Code Base tap which will lead you to MQL4.com when you double tap a selection. there you will also find a Book with examples you can copy and paste.

FXCM discussed using EA in an email sent out before the contest. EAs are one of the strong points of the MT4 platform. it is fair because anyone that has the commitment to learn to code can write their ideas into an EA and use it to trade. look into it if you like. a better question is how do they get the type of returns that the leaders have gotten in this contest? if they can do it maybe there is hope for the rest of us !

couple of questions, Jason 1) why is this contest account trading two hours ahead of a live account I.E. 14:00 instead of 12:00 UTC? 2) how often does the leader board update? anyway thanks ahead of time. great contest (if you read the information given) hope FXCM runs many more in the future. was part of the group that came over from IBFX and have been very pleased with FXCM so far.
