Hi mate one more thing. You are using the 30% risk setting, correct? The bar chart shows about 27% dd. I saw it at 28% today and the drawdown by the daily and monthly figures States 35%. Are you using the 30% ?Also I bought the EA at 8am this morning 12 hours later still nothing, no replies etc. Did your EA take forever to be delivered by pigeon?

I bought the EA about 3 hours ago through Avangate. Did anyone else have to wait a long time after the transaction was complete, and the order status is "delivered"?

Ok thanks for the info. It seems if you have a good start on this ea you should withdraw profits while you can. I will take your advice once I buy the ea and change the initial deposit as I go. Good luck

Sorry poor maths, will wait till my account reaches £720 not £650. So i can lose 30% once and retain my initial deposit.

Yeah cheers Matt. This only opens short positions according to the vendor, and Friday was a strong day for the USD, hence the amazing results. But the lot size is massive on the other smaller Adaninvestment Vogon account, if one of those trades went wrong that would be the end of the account. Hopefully they improve it by adding a drawdown stoploss parameter or something.In other news I'm happy with RevTP and moment, it seems very stable in comparison. Thinking about BlueMonkey but it's just a complete flip of the coin!! Magnus would be good if they used fixed risk reward of 1:1 ratio, ...

Hey Matt you're here as well, this looks better than Magnus IMO, as the SL of 170pip is in place for each trade. And, it doesn't piss into the wind by holding long positions on the Euro! All trades are in the direction of the trend :) I have asked vendor what determines whether it only shorts or longs? There's another Vogon account set up using real money, 3 days old 77% gain, obvs very lucky, but a step in right direction.

Hi Matt. I like this EA too. Looking at the closed trades most of the losing trades are the inverse of the TP, or occasionally the SL. Which is good because the risk/reward is 1:1. So as long as it's correct more than it's wrong it can stay in profit (roughly speaking). Basically my problem lies with the circa 25 open orders that acrue swap fees and become too drawdown. I was thinking if I'd test this EA I'd close all trades at the end of the week, but how different would my results become??Would be more inclined if their 100% satisfaction guarantee included a refund period lik...

It's ok, just an email confirming my subscription, then when I confirmed it it said "check your inbox now", it was this phrase that made me think an update was due. Doug said it's just confirming my email for when updates are available.

What's the advantage of closing trades 30mins before the market closes? For example if the EUR/USD enters in over the next few hours, and fails to return down we will close at a loss. Do you have this autoclose feature on, or off?

Either sign up with Synergy Fx or FX choice, the only two recommended. Save yourselves the bother of finding a similar broker. I'm with Synergy and they seem fine, only thing is its in Australia and it takes a few days to send my deposit (banks for you, not broker fault). Way too early to draw conclusions on how my entries and exits differ tho. Will say so in a month. If your curios my last to exits were one minute before Doug's. ps I wish the USD would take a breather, we are many hours from making the next batch of trades I feel, looking at the hour chart

UPDATE;I have joined Synergy now, I went back to this 1.24359 entry on 24/11/14 and can clearly see how this entry was possible. So I was completely wrong, which I'm very happy about, very reassuring. The chart I used was CMC Markets (uk) and as newish trader I didn't realise there was such a difference in the prices shown, I thought the differences was in the spread.So, to summarise I have no concerns. If your entries vary from the RTP's, sign up with Synergy or if you are American FX Choice.I look forward to finally starting this EA next week, good luck all.
