The most honest truth about forex trading is you cannot get yourself rich in months or first couple years. Even an experienced one still considering this business as their part time business.

I remember when I got some training from my mentor, he said "Don't you ever thinking about making huge profits when you're learning about this business" and "You're not a trader if you haven't getting your live trading account MC'ed"From this couple words, I got myself understand that this business is similar to any other kind of business that we should dedicate ourself first.

Nah, I prefer to trade manually. Most EAs are works in a certain market condition (unless if you have an ability to reprogram it, you can fix it and make it works in some market situations)

Too much indicators means too much things to understand. The question is: do you really understand all of them? If you do, then it wouldn't be a problem to your trading process...

I use daily SMA in 1m-15m time frame. And just like what Apip said, you gotta focus yourself watching those charts for a while. You may want to use EA for scalping but I've never done that before...

I agree with this. If you just counting on your win/lose ratio, you might get yourself full with pride, which is not really good for a trader. Remain neutral and never stop learning. Your loss experience is your best teacher. As long as you willing to learn how to be profitable, you're a good trader.

Is not that easy to know and learn how the market works. I can say, almost every traders couldn't explain every single detail about the market.Btw, try to learn and understand the risk of forex trading itself. Train your trading skills by hanging around in demo account (you might take more than 2 due to your trial and error in training process). Grab some trading arts and look for the one that suits you best. Get yourself a mentor (but don't depend too much to them) till the time when he doesn't wan't to train you anymore. This kind of training would likely takes couple months ...
