I theory that makes sense but crypto is not a mature market. It is stull developing. It could be banned or regulated or there could be some huge theft of funds that drives away investors. These things could all mean that crypto like Bitcoin could go from $6000 to $0

I do a similar thing. I like to watch YouTube educational videos as a way to stop getting bored but you need discipline to not end up looking at cat videos etc.!!

Most crypto are STRONGLY correlated meaning it doesn't matter which one you choose it will move in roughly the same way as all the others. Just open charts of bitcoin, etherium, litecoin and dash. They are almost identical apart in shape

30 minutes every couple of day is a good start. Just keep doing that for a few weeks and you will be surprised how much you can learn. Forex is all about long term so just take it slow. No rush here

But what if you use a lot size of say 0.1 Lot and the stop loss is like 50 pips? Do you take that or wait for another trade? I worry about risk reward and drawdown with big stop loss

Demo is great but micro is better. Just risking a few cents is enough to really change the game and they way you trade. I would rather lose $500 from 3 months on micro than spend 3month on free demo. I would learn more from micro

Totally. regulation is what you have to see, and from a proper country not some island in the Caribbean. I obviously like to look at spreads and commission too because that is the day to day cost for trading

That is a lot of the problem here. People assume high leverage is high risk and low leverage is lower risk but it is all about how you set up a trade and manage your account. I dumb trader can wipe out an account on low leverage just as easy as high leverage

You can use fundamentals to get the longer term trend. If the big important data like GDP and interest rates are strong and growing then I see that as an up trend. I then only look for Buys
