I turn off Money Management and use a fixed lot scheme.The lot size varies based on the market volatility but there is no formula. Generally, when the market is quiet, I reduce the lot size to about 0.10 so I can see the trades but not risk a lot. In a quiet market, MicroBOT looses money.When I see a day or two of good profit (in PIPS) I increase the lot size and hope the market volatility remains high. Maximum for me is 1 Lot per $1000 balance in the account.Hope this helps.

Hi, After reviewing performance for June, I am closing out one scalper product and would like to add in yours for July if that works for you. I trade at ICM now although I would need to figure out what is needed to open an account under your IB code as opposed to just another one in my name. Let me know if you are interested. I have looked at all 196 trades since I started this EA. Average slip is -0.3Pips. It has been the same during winning periods and loosing periods so I can not attribute the change in results to a sudden jump in slippage. When slip is much higher than average (2% of the trades) I can trace them back to very volatile times in the market when you would expect higher slip.I can see no reason to think the broker is doing anything but executing with transparency as I had hoped. Appreciate everyone's input and would welcome more if it becomes available.Thanks.

Very true. As I check into things more carefully, I see the large majority of the time, the trades are closed out at or very close to the EA's TP or SL value. It is looking less and less like the broker is influencing the execution in some way and more and more like it is the EA negotiating the real liquidity conditions of the markets. The fact that trades stay open so short a time seems to make it a bit "gun shy" closing trades before they can get out of the spread or commission zone if they are not instantly profitable.I have turned all the risk levels to Conservative in my ...

Thanks! This explains the environment more clearly than I understood before. Looks like I need to get busy and do some more very careful analysis of the language within the broker's rules and trading conditions to determine whether or not they leave themselves the option to take a position against me or whether they claim that 100% of the trades go out to LPs. Mine is a "True ECN" style account so we shall see.From there I will decide whether there is a need to look more carefully into my trades and attempt to verify this is actually how it is being done. I have the same results as you do by pair. In fact for a while, I switched off the GBPUSD as it was a net looser. I turned it back on last week and it was a bit better. If you find a great broker, let me know too. This last week I did not see the great execution I saw the two prior weeks. Starting to wonder if my broker may be doing some things to tone down my results. But a week is too short to make any real determination.Good luck with your trading.

Yes, I use www.forexvps.net. Their quoted latency to my broker (IC Markets) is 1ms. I have not checked it myself, however. Their team has given me great support. I wasn't sure it was worth going with a higher cost VPS Provider but it has been a good move. It only takes one time when your bargain provider fails to support you when you are in a pinch and all the savings of the cheap service are gone. That's experience talking :-)

Appreciate the info. I decided to give them a try and have been having decent results so far. But as usual, I need to watch the performance very carefully and make adjustments as things change. This account is just for my ability to access the performance when I am traveling but I have seen dozens of folks follow it so it is generating some interest. Hope the authors provide performance that is attractive for all of us. If so, it is win-win.
