Hi ,I have had to pause exploring the opportunity with ROFX as the terms of their proposal is not yet viable based on risk profile - ive been advised that their request to deduct their performance fee of 15% on a daily basis increase the risk to an unacceptable level sadly. I was pleased however that my broker agreed to contract directly with ROFX to automatically deduct their PF, however their are two points to negotiate; the first being agreeing to weekly performance payments, and the second, a 30 day trial period with 1m with the commitment to increase capital to their suggested 10m minimu...

its everyone's choice as to what they take from these posts.I had another call from Raul at ROFX to discuss the point of how to proceed, to which he explained that ROFX will require a direct agreement between the Broker of my choice (where funds are currently placed) as they wish their 15% performance fee to be deducted directly from the broker on a daily basis. I have mentioned this to my broker who will come back to me after speaking with their compliance dept.I will keep you updated.

HI Matthew,Thanks for sharing.I received a call today from a gentleman from ROFX as per my email requesting more information etc, and he explained that for a fund upwards of $10m they will allow me to use whichever broker i choose and send me the signals as i understood, which is positive.i know this wont help many others who would be required to move funds to their preferred broker/bank account as per their advertised packages however once i have completed my own due diligence, and should my team decide to try their service (no contractual tie ins, 15% performance fee) i can report the initia...

Im grateful for the comments here.I would personally never move funds to the control of another, regulated or not, and so if RoFX does not want to share their signals then its not an option for me. I agree with the comments i.e always use a regulated brokerage, and additionally try and stick to the top tier boys - avoid tax-efficient / public record withholding jurisdictions. thanks guys for sharing.

It is mostly client funds that im using my own strategies with, and even though the performance is similar, the fact the RoFx has maintained a very disciplined open/close trade algo, resulting in a very impressive historical DD number, i hope to be able to talk to them tomorrow.I would be using my own broker if the guys at RoFx permit it.thanks
