100%. I opened this account in July and was going to use it for a different strategy but changed my plan (was a losing month) and only started trading the 2% system at the end of the year. Then my broker made their announcement and I stopped trading.

My broker has announced it's closing all retail accounts in Britain at the end of December, add in Brexit and covid means that I won't be trading for the rest of the month. I'll spend the rest of the month funding an alternative broker.I'll report back once it's all sorted

I've been out of the market for quite a while and this is my way of getting back up to speed. Ask @marco_mmbiz says, risk management and consistency over time is key. Once I'm fully back up and running I'll be happy making 2-5% a month, rebuilding my trading capital until I can resume full time trading. There's no need to be greedy, the market will be there tomorrow, in a month, year, decades time.

I like your thinking but it's not quite as simple as that. I'd lose out on the compound interest, increase my risks beyond what I'm comfortable with, and be away from the market for a long period of time and we all know things change quickly. Still, putting my feet up for a year sounds good, I'd finally get the decorating finished.

Exactly and adding in compound interest means this can grow even faster.This is just one of a handful of strategies that I used to use. The next one I'll launch in the new year is very similar but with a higher monthly target.

You’re correct, it won’t make me rich overnight and no strategy will. My plan is to build the account by 1% each more and every 6 months add capital to the balance. After a year of positive results I will start my own signal service/copier and add the fees generated from those to the balance. Between year two and three I will source external funding to increase my capital size further. This is just one strategy that I’m pursuing, I will add another in the new year.

Thank you. I'm looking for harmonic pattens that are as close to the correct fib's as possible, when these appear I have a custom made RSI indicator that I use to confirm the trade. I'm not looking for anything else on this account, keep it simple.

Thank you. When I traded for a living (9 years ago) I only looked at the percentages, looking at the $£€ amount would add stress. Once I get to six months I'll look to increase my account size, the goal of 1% will remain the same.
