Leverage in EURUSD and XAUUSD trading

You can have 1:500 and still trade safely if you keep your trade size small. The danger is seeing that number and thinking you should use it. On gold especially, one fast move can punish you quick.
What’s the toughest challenge you’ve overcome in trading?

Mine was revenge trading. One loss and I’d try to win it back fast. The fix was simple, after a loss I step away and only come back if the next trade is still a clean setup I’d take on a good day.
How do you manage risk during high-impact news events in forex trading?

For me high impact news is mostly an execution risk problem, not a setup problem. Spreads and fills get weird, so I either stay flat into the release or I cut size so small that a bad fill is still within my normal risk. If I trade it, I prefer after the first reaction when the market picks a direction and volatility starts to normalize.

So far, Hola Prime feels built by people who actually understand how traders think and offer flexible plan choices, multiple platforms, and a real fast payout process. The prop evaluation is transparent and not too complicated. Rules are laid out in a way that’s easy to follow.
Why Backtests Fail Live (3 things beginners underestimate)

This is a good breakdown. One thing that’s helped me is treating a backtest as a rough filter, not a green light, and then forward testing slowly with small size. How a system behaves when you’re not watching every tick usually tells you more than any extra round of optimization.
Is Forex Trading More Like Gambling or a Skill-Based Game?

I agree with that take. For people who are desperate, over leveraged, or constantly chasing losses, it ends up looking a lot like gambling no matter what market they trade. When you don’t manage risk or follow a plan, the market will punish that pretty quickly. Do it the right way with patience and rules, and it starts to feel very different over time.
Forex One Click order manager

Cool idea. Does it pull the pip value dynamically from MT5 symbol specs and convert it to the account currency automatically, or is it based on fixed assumptions per pair? Also does it include any built in risk guardrails like a max lot cap or auto SL, or is it purely one click sizing and entry?
Not every day is green. But every day is controlled.

100%. Green days come and go, but control is the whole game. If the rules are doing the heavy lifting, the best edge is usually not touching it and letting the stats play out. Only thing I’d watch is how it behaves when conditions change, choppy weeks or news spikes, because that’s where most smooth weeks systems get tested.
