A day before the announcement of the lifting of the US base rate by the Fed, the dollar marked a slight increase against most currencies.EUR/USD recorded a slight decline from the previous session, although the euro was trading at higher levels during the day and closed at 1.0625.

Dollar retreated moderately against the yen yesterday. The decline, which amounted 25 pips to 113.73, managed to erase gains from Tuesday. The final figures for the day were reached respectively at 114.39 and 113.41. RSI remains in neutral territory as the price continues to move in a narrow range over the 50-period average value. A break of 114.80 will resume the upward direction.

The British pound continued to loose against the dollar for a second day on Wednesday. The pair has depreciated by 53 pips to 1.2624, and traded within the extreme values 1.2682 and 1.2569. Poor manufacturing data from Britain in October reflected on the price, which found support from their 50-period average. The index of relative strength lost positions though, which gives extra confidence of the Bears.

The euro rose against the dollar on Wednesday. By the close of US trading EUR/USD was trading at 1.0750, gaining 0.30%. I believe that the support is now located at the level of 1.0503, Monday's low, and resistance is at the level of 1.0798 - Monday's high.

The British pound recorded a modest rise against the US dollar on Wednesday. After a volatile session, the pound added only 15 pips at a closing price of 1.2505. The pair bounced from support at 1.2460 and if prices continue to rise pound will move to the first resistance at 1.2790.

The euro was down against the US Dollar on Wednesday. By the close of US trading EUR / USD was trading at 1.0589, shedding 0.57%. I believe that the support is now located at the level of 1.0535, Friday's low, and resistance is likely at the level of 1.0686 - Monday's high.

Pound / Dollar had a bullish momentum yesterday, topped at 1.2525. The outlook is bullish in nearest term for testing 1.2600. Initial support is at 1.2455, whose breach could lead price to neutral trading zone testing 1.2400 but as long as the pair holds above 1.2330, I prefer bullish scenario at this stage.

Euro / dollar attempted to push lower yesterday, bottomed at 1.0564 but closed higher at 1.0648 and hit 1.0660 earlier today. Trade signals are neutrals in the near future, perhaps with slight bullish signal to test 1.0700. A clear break and daily close above this level may lead to further upward pressure to test 1.0800 / 50. The nearest support is around 1.0620. A clear break below it can cause pressure down to test 1.0565. The fundamental outlook remains neutral.

Dollar / Yen attempted to push higher yesterday, formed a peak of 113.33 but closed lower at 112.38. The bias is neutral, possibly with slight bearish signals for testing the 111.50 support. A clear break and daily close below 111.50 could open a way for the Bears down to near 110.00. Intraday resistance at 112.80 whose breach could trigger further bullish pressure testing 113.30. Overall I remain in the camp of the bulls, but I need a clear break and consistent move at least above 112.80 - 113.30 for continuing the bullish scenario.

Sberbank CIB believes that EUR / USD is headed to parity. The exchange rate fell below the key support level of 1.0525, which is its lowest level since December last year when the ECB did not meet market expectations for further easing of monetary policy, remind analysts. In their view, this increases the likelihood that the pair will reach parity in the coming months. Another argument to wait parity is a supportive fiscal policy in the US and politically busy calendar in the EU.

On Thursday, the dollar was almost unchanged at 14-year peak against other major rivals amid lingering optimism over the US economy, while trade volumes remained fragile due to Thanksgiving. GBP/USD is stable at 1.2447. Nearest levels of support and resistance are respectivly at 1.2320 and 1.2500.

The US dollar rose against the Japanese Yen on Friday. By the end of the Asian session USD/JPY was trading at 113.72, gaining 0.32%. I believe that the support is now located at around 110.23, Tuesday's low, and resistance is likely at the level of 113.73 - the maximum of today's trading.

The euro rose against the dollar on Friday. By the end of the Asian session EUR/USD was trading at 1.0571, gaining 0.16%. I believe that the support is now located at the level of 1.0515, the low of Thursday, and resistance is likely at the level of 1.0660 - the maximum of Tuesday.
