Fantastic platform!Very intuitive and easy to learn. Robots developed in cAlgo can be run in cTrader as well.ECN/STP with direct market access. No trading desk. Hi khuzwayom, yes I agree on what you are saying that slippage is not accounted for in a demo accounts and of course emotional attributes are not as well. What can we do to include these negative aspects and calculate it as a negative loss in our demo accounts? I would say withdraw at least 10% to make up for this.

Hi guys, all this information about russian brokers and programmers being out to get your money. Is this not on the verge of being against as certan folk group. There are exxelent programmers coming out of russia and as well from other parts of the world like India. Should we judge them just because they are not from the western world? No of cource not. Was not the MT4 platform designed by Russions? Hi Hendra,I agree totally on your input. The balance and the eqiuity should follow each other as closely as possible. If the equity takes a dive it is a sign that danger is ahed! Too much risk is what is telling us and eventually the strategy will blow up. A trading system that can 100% guarantee 4% a month does not exist!If so, they would be able to control the entire monetary system in the world.It takes a lot of dedication and time to even get to the point of having a consistent 4% a month profit, year after year. Hard work with other words.What one can do is combine different tools in one's trading box and by using these tools one can get very close to the 4% mark, though it can not be 100% guaranteed by anyone. It all depends on what kind of a broker you are using if a demo account can be trusted. "Market Makers" brokers do manipulate feed and do probably not trade against you as they do in a live accounts. Slippage can be in your favor too. They do not charge commission so they have to earn money in one way or another."ECN brokers" don't trade against you because they earn their profit on commission. Hi guys,my opinion is this, going for 1000% a year is "Sputnic Crazyness" :) Why not go for 50% and over which is a great return. It's so much safer in the long run and you can sleep good at night too, not worrying if the account is still there when you wake up in the morning.

Hi steveh2014,I am not following any other traders. So far I've only done manual trading opening orders. To guard the account and to be sure I lock in profit and minimize the draw down I have the RMM Robot running in cAlgo. I give you here a link where you can get an idea on different RMM strategies. These are just examples and the trader can make his own strategy fitting his own trading style and risk tolerance.[Link deleted]

Demo accounts can be very useful in a testing environment. If a strategy preforms exelent in a demo account then there is a chance it will preform good in a live account as well. Would you trust a strategy preforming bad in a demo account and going live with it? No, but I fully agree that a demo account is just that and it don't prove much other then as a testing ground for different strategies and it also gives you the info of what has happened by studying the history and all the risk and money management information given in the account.

Have not experienced any problems during the summer months. I guess it all depends on what kind of risk & money management principles you are using. I prefer low risk with the balance and equity curve following each other closely. Take a look at this demo account though the profit so far during the summer months are on the high side.
