fusion manual states something to the effect that gmt -5 brokers won't be as profitable as gmt 0 or +1 brokers. this is where the false statements come in. i don't know why ea sellers say this still like jonfx stated. unless the ea works best during a specified time and unless you set the gmt offset wrong, it is totally irrelevant issue. they are actually saying gmt -5 brokers won't work as well as gmt +1 brokers. only thing you are doing is telling the ea what time it is. ea is comparing the broker time to the input offset amount to determine what time it is right now. so e...
