I turned the EA off 24hrs before the FOMC meeting as I noticed that a previous big loss happened around an FOMC meeting. Glad I did as I can't see the AUD rallying from this point. Q1 US GDP figures are probably due to be revised upwards tonight. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I see another 200 pip stop-loss for the current AUD/USD buy trade.

Just a general observation of the few decent few losses CTP has had since it started. Twice after the 4th July weekend, one on Christmas Eve and one that was at the same time of a FOMC meeting. Would it be of any benefit to switch off the EA during times of lower trading volume around US market holidays and the unpredictability of the market's reaction to FOMC details to err on the side of caution? Is CTPs coding and parameters ever adjusted as market conditions change or is it set permanently?

I only have the EA running on the EUR/USD. I find it'll will open the first order without a problem, but will duplicate the second trade. For example the AUD/USD trade today executed fine, but the most recent EUR/JPY trade duplicated?

Hi,I just bought this EA. As this is my first and hopefully last EA, I've got a few noob questions which hopefully I can get answered. Are any of you using a VPS with the EA given there is generally only a couple trades a day? If so which one are you using? The one recommended by CTP in their setup manual or one that you were already using from other EAs? Anyone got any recommendations for a VPS that is good value for money? Also I currently have CTP running on demo mode and there hasn't been a trade placed so if you are still trades taking place on your account, please let me know as ...
