EUR/USD almost reached 1.1700 today. The pair is unlikely to break out above that level today before the market closes, not to mention that there is a distinct shooting star candlestick on the four-hour time-frame that is a signal for a likely retracement to the downside.

Next target is likely 1.2900 or 1.2890, which is the (MA)89 indicator on the same one-hour time-frame.

The pair bounced off from 1.2860 after forming several very telling candlesticks above that level on the four-hour time-frame - namely an inverted hammer candlestick, a hammer candlestick and a doji candlestick. Next target is likely the last high at 1.2926.

I agree, the pair is still consolidating above 1.2860, but a breakout below that support could lead to a further drop towards 1.2800 at least.

EUR/USD formed a hanging man candlestick on the weekly time-frame at the resistance around 1.1445 - 1.1440. There will likely be a new move to the downside towards 1.1300.

The whipsaw that the fundamentals today caused led EUR/USD to 1.1440, but it then bounced off from that level and it is currently testing the support at 1.1380, which coincides with the (MA)89 indicator on the one-hour time-frame. A breakout below that support will likely lead to another drop towards 1.1300.

EUR/USD bounced off from 1.1310 and it is moving to the upside. If it breaks out above 1.1400 it could test the last high at 1.1445 again.
