EUR/USD fell and it appears it will likely try to test the support around 1.2250. Now the question is whether it will be able to break below that support or will range continue.

EUR/USD couldn't break the resistance at 1.2570 and started descending again. That said, I think the movement to the downside is just part of the correction. I think the pair will break below the support at 1.2250 and continue the bearish trend in January.

Despite the marubozu candlestick on the daily filter chart EUR/USD continued on its way up until it reached the strong resistance at 1.2570. In case it does break above that resistance level I think it will likely reach target 1.2700.

EUR/USD formed a marubozu candlestick on the daily filter chart and, as expected, started descending again. That said, I am not so sure whether that new movement to the downside is part of the correction or the overall bearish trend and considering how sluggishly the market is moving at this time of the year it may not become clear until January.

EUR/USD broke above the resistance at 1.2460 only to start descending again after forming another inverted hammer candlestick pattern on the 4 hour filter chart. At this point, however, I am not certain whether this new movement to the downside is part of the bearish trend or part of the correction.

Although EUR/USD was met with a pretty strong resistance around the 1.2460 level and formed an inverted hammer candlestick pattern under the resistance level, the pair is still testing the resistance. At this point, I think, it is uncertain whether the movement to the upside will continue or the pair will begin descending again.

I wasn't expecting such a bounce to the upside, EUR/USD certainly surprised me. That said, the pair has reached a pretty strong resistance at 1.2440, the question is what will follow next.

Indeed, after the non-farm payrolls the EUR/USD pair broke below the support at 1.2300 and continues its descent today. The pair has almost reached target 1.2200 and will likely continue falling after that.

The ECB rate decision certainly had an effect but it was not the effect I was hoping for. Still, despite the movement to the upside I don't believe that the bearish trend is over yet. I still think that the EUR/USD pair will reach target 1.22 sooner or later.

EUR/USD didn't even wait for the ECB rate decision and the USD non-farm payrolls and it broke below the support at 1.2350. Considering that I think it's very likely the bearish trend will continue with target at least 1.2200.

As I thought yesterday a more long-term correction really seems to have started for EUR/USD. Its current target still appears to be around 1.2580, though the trend remains bearish and it will likely continue its descent once the correction is over.

EUR/USD really did form a double bottom at the support at the 1.2350, which proved to be quite strong, and is now headed for 1.2570. Between that double bottom and the strong support I am starting to wonder whether this is not the beginning of a more long-term correction.

Despite its descent on Friday EUR/USD reached the support level at 1.2350 and bounced back, forming what appears to be a double bottom on the daily filter chart, so a new movement to the upside is possible. On the other hand, the bearish trend is not over, so I doubt this is a long-term reversal. That said, a new drop will be confimed when or if it breaks below the support at 1.2350.

EUR/USD did fall after all, despite my suspicions that the correction might last longer. That said, in order to be certain that it's not forming a double bottom it will have to break below the support around 1.2380 and below the previous low at 1.2350. If does that it will likely head for target 1.2200.
