Hi,
does anyone know how to report the Forex gains (losses)
Since Oanda does not supply a 1099, I am unsure how to report the trades . ..
As a whole number like in Futures or every single trade? (That would be a pain in the butt)

Any tip or hint would be highly appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks for the answer, but that does not help . . .😁
The 'local tax authorities' don't have a clue, neither do most of the PAs.

I can not imagine, that nobody in this forum has ever filed his/her Forex gains or losses . . .
I am not asking for a tax advice, just which forms you guys used, or how they are reported.

Cheers

I encountered a similar problem. My primary income comes from freelancing, and I don't know how I can verify it.

It's elementary. You can now find many companies on the Internet that cooperate with significant trading exchanges, including Forex. Nowadays, creating an income statement is easy and not time-consuming.
