Forex is Hobby ?

In my case Forex is the main business. I'm getting passive income from arbitrage managed account and profiting from cooperating with few brokers

Many people do start it as a hobby. But gradually so much interest develops that it does not remain a hobby anymore and traders become really serious about it.

No one has ever made it rich through their hobby if they do not treat it as serious as a profession.

Yo. It depends. If you ain't planning on trading full time, yeah. It is a hobby. If you want to become full time trader, even if you just started, it's not a hobby. So decide why do you trade, and after that you won't be asking yourself is it hobby or nah. Peace

it's good when work is at the same time your hobby

A professional sports person may start their sport as a hobby but to become professional they have to dedicate time, effort, sweat and tears. Forex is just the same

Forex may be a hobby for some while it can be a way of livelihhod for others. When it's a simple hobby you don't worry about it that much, because you haven't invested that much.But if you trade for the living than you became cautious about the money you have invested.

Personally, I think if this is treated as a hobby, it will take longer to achieve the result.

It seems more like a hobby when you lose your money, and become the meaning of life when you make a profit :)

I think that depends on a trader. I know both two types of traders. Some traders take this like a hobby and they just spend 1-2 hours trading. However, for some traders that's real bussiness they spend a hours for.

Yes, it is more then a hobby because here our emotions are involved and when we lose our money we can ne emotionaly disturbed.

I started forex as a hobby. But now it becomes my main income source.

I agree with you. At first, I was doing it as a hobby, but as I learn more and experience more later, I think that FX became my business while I am spending money and trading seriously.

I thinkg that it is better to start seriously.

Not exactly. Something that you start on is always a hobby before you find a deeper meaning in doing what you like and calling it your passion. At first, forex trading was just a try out as an hobby to see if I can waste some times and the sooner I realized that it became a part of my life.

Forex is a serious business. You can not take it as hobby. You can take it as part time initially but not as hobby. You can only learn something if you are serious about that.

Forex is a business and we can make a lot of profit with it but we should have good knowledge and skills to become successful.

Many people want to make money in a hurry when it comes to forex trading. This is the reason for their loss. You must make a profit in trading, but before that, you need to acquire trading knowledge. And trading according to discipline. Trading is not a very easy thing, you have to be very patient. And trading with a long time goal in mind is a chance to succeed in life one day.
