In my case Forex is the main business. I'm getting passive income from arbitrage managed account and profiting from cooperating with few brokers

Yo. It depends. If you ain't planning on trading full time, yeah. It is a hobby. If you want to become full time trader, even if you just started, it's not a hobby. So decide why do you trade, and after that you won't be asking yourself is it hobby or nah. Peace

Forex may be a hobby for some while it can be a way of livelihhod for others. When it's a simple hobby you don't worry about it that much, because you haven't invested that much.But if you trade for the living than you became cautious about the money you have invested.

Yes, it is more then a hobby because here our emotions are involved and when we lose our money we can ne emotionaly disturbed.

I agree with you. At first, I was doing it as a hobby, but as I learn more and experience more later, I think that FX became my business while I am spending money and trading seriously.

Not exactly. Something that you start on is always a hobby before you find a deeper meaning in doing what you like and calling it your passion. At first, forex trading was just a try out as an hobby to see if I can waste some times and the sooner I realized that it became a part of my life.

Many people want to make money in a hurry when it comes to forex trading. This is the reason for their loss. You must make a profit in trading, but before that, you need to acquire trading knowledge. Yeah. Even i also think that forex is no fun business. No fun learning so hard if you are not gonna take something serious.
