because they forget to remove it< as simple as that < as I know everything about dealing desk, all the contestants are in one group called contest , and the dealer just forget to change the setting of our group and remove the commission.

There seems to be some confusion here. The commissions you see on your contest demo account account are not an error. Your demo account is designed to reflect the same new pricing that is available to live account holders. With FXCM, you can trade on raw FX spreads with transparent low commissions. The following video has more details.

On Trading Station, click on the Symbols button to suscribe to more symbols.

If you need your contest demo login details to be resent to you, then you can make a request to resend the login details from that page.

Hi Domm3,
When adding your account to your Myfxbook portfolio, select Trading Station as your platform instead of MT4. Your login details will actually work on both platforms, but adding the account to your portfolio in this way will allow Myfxbook to access the full trading history.

Just to check that you can log into any accounts on MT4 server FXCM-USDDemo01, please go to File > Open an Account an try setting up a new non-contest demo on that server. If that lets you connect, then go to File > Login to Trade Account and try logging in with your contest demo login details.

There seems to be some confusion here. On FXCM's No Dealing Desk (NDD) forex price feed there are 10+ competing liquidity providers which include several of the largest banks in the world. To give you an idea of the proportion of total retail volume we represent, below is a table comparing our retail volume to that of other forex brokers. The numbers shown are in billions of dollars.
The stats above are from the Forex Magnates industry report for Q4 2011. I would post something more recent, but that's the last report that's available to non-subscribers. I hope the authors won't mind me revealing that even their latest reports confirm FXCM's lead over the other firms listed above in terms of monthly trading volume.
Furthermore, there seems to be a misconception here that liquidity is a constant. That is not the case. For example, EUR/USD is the most liquid financial instrument in the world, but even for that most liquid currency pair, the liquidity will drop during news events, and around 5pm New York Time which marks the end of one trading day and the start of the next.
It's important to understand that anyone trading in the forex, stock, or futures markets has to be willing to accept the risks that can come with having orders executed during illiquid market conditions such as market gaps. There's no sugar coating this. Slippage is one of these risks. Though it's worth noting that with FXCM, slippage can be either positive or negative. Below are the data from a total of 43,128,901 trades executed through FXCM over a six month period from August 2013 to January 2014.
73% of all orders had no slippage. Over that period, FXCM clients benefited from over $15 million in positive slippage: http://bit.ly/P6lUzX
- 15% of all orders received positive slippage.
- 12% of all orders received negative slippage.
- Over 60% of all limit and limit entry orders received positive slippage.
- 53.32% of all stop and stop entry orders received negative slippage.
Notice that stop orders are more likely to receive negative slippage, while limit orders are more likely to receive positive slippage. That's because of the momentum of price movement when such order types are triggered. Another fact to consider is that with FXCM, you can use the Maximum Deviation feature on our MT4 platform or the Market Range feature on our Trading Station platform to limit the negative slippage on your orders while still receiving the full benefits of any positive slippage that's available: http://bit.ly/1wmfJqw

Yes, accounts with other brokers are ok on my Iphone/iPad.
I just noticed that the only pair available for trading on myiphone is EURCAD, and on iPad, this one and 2 other, that's all :).
All pairs are listed and show quotes, but TRADE function works only wiht these ...
if this is a matter of some server side setup, I hope FXCM sypport is reading this

Just now I successfully placed trades on a contest demo account using the MT4 mobile app on both an iPhone and an Android phone and can confirm that my orders went through without any issues. Please make sure that you have all symbols added on your MT4 mobile app and that you are logged into MT4 server FXCM-USDDemo01.

When looking at your commissions, it's important to consider the size of the trade you placed. For example, in your screenshot, you traded 53.75 standard lots of USD/CAD. That's $5,375,000 worth of currency you traded. If you had traded only 1.00 standard lots or $100,000 worth of currency, then your commission for closing the trade would have been $6, instead of $322.50.
Let's compare your total transaction costs under FXCM's new pricing with the old model.
Under the new pricing, the typical raw FX spread for USD/CAD is 0.5 pips. If you traded 1.00 standard lots of USD/CAD that value of a pip is about $8.78 (US) at current exchange rates. That means the 0.5 pip spread cost comes out to about $4.39. On that of that spread cost you would pay $6 commission for opening the trade and another $6 for closing that trade. That means your total transaction cost would be $16.39.
Under the old pricing, the typical spread for USD/CAD including pip markups was 2.5 pips. Using the same pip value of $8.79, the spread cost comes out to about $21.93 would would also be your total transaction cost since there were no commissions on the old model.
That means, the new pricing model with commissions saves you about $5.54 in total transaction costs for each 1.00 standard lot of USD/CAD that you trade. Since your trade was for 53.75 standard lots, FXCM's new pricing with raw FX spreads and commissions saved you about $297.77 compared to the old model. 😄

Anyone know how to access the account info again?
I have a problem that i cannot close/open my order on mobile app.
But with MT4 is just fine.
So want to access mt4 with other pc cause i am out of home till saturday. But just forgot the password.
My xauusd order is reach what i am expect that is why i want to close the position before i working layer on
