I like Macs but seems too expensive compared to regular PCs utilities now as regular Windows machine are really cheap and perform rather well and I have only had 2 virus related problems of this magnitude mostly because my wife keep pop up options on I think.
We are thinking to get second PC or laptop on Boxing day. It is cheap ow and will be even cheaper so I can use this PC or second PC solely for trading.

Oh! By the way.... regarding computers now... 😄
As you said 'My my, last Friday just minutes after I made last post my system crashed. Some virus. PC has been restored only today and still only one monitor is working. taking it back to the shop tomorrow'
Like you I had the same issues happening to me way too often. That was the reason I switched from Windows to Mac 5 years ago.
I had 6 Windows machines and I replaced them all for Mac's (I only use 1 for trading by the way) and every since I haven't had a crash or a virus. I don't even have an anti-virus on my Mac's neither anti- spyware programs to protect me and everything has been fine.I cannot say the same about Windows: I had all the protection there was on the market including firewall's but didn't help much.
I'm really happy with my iMac. 21.5-inch: 2.5GHz $1,199.00
Cheers.

If to take myself I did make a change probably back in 1990 but was on the way even earlier. I have been to McDonald's only once in 1990 just to check what's all fuss about, but I do like Pepsi a glass a week usually on Saturday 😁
They would go broke with this kind of customers.
I think that 'change from within' cannot happen to may people. Most of the people has no will power and are weak. They cannot change themselves.

I am looking forward to old trends continuation. Another legs so to speak. my worries are aud/usd and gbp/nzd. generally , I am not interested in aud/usd now but will keep my stop where it is. It looked like a good trend start when I entered. I think I was actually a bit late with my entry. so far no signal to close.

I tightened all stops now. tomorrow big news day. German constitutional court ruling. will not let market go against me like I did last time when i was a lot up and did not lock any profits and even not moved stops to be and hence my current DD. moved stops to under/above the recent swings lows/highs and let's see what market will do. Tomorrow news is a kind of news that can change trend.

got stopped for some pips on eur/nzd still 5 trades survive so far. probably German court ruling but Feds also talk to day and 10 years bonds, so expect volatility. I am dreaming surviving trades going to 1000+ pips 😇
some pairs probably reversing. might take entry but stops would be too wide so i am waiting.

I have by now another 8-9% locked if stopped on all trades and went short gbp/nzd and eur/nzd. see what happens. eur/nzd is in longer term downtrend. it might be reversal time. i have been waiting patiently for this entry. hopefully it will work.
I am leaving on vacation this Saturday for 3 weeks but will have access to laptop. going to manage trades and open long term trades if I have signals during vacation as well.
I am going to move another about $300 to this account as soon as I am flat and have no running trades.

Reconnected my demo account as I got access to Oanda demo again. added aud/usd as signal was. The method on demo now is completely different from the one I trade live. However started it after most signals happened so it is only these 3 trades so far. it is a lazier way to trade and system generates less signals as it has anti whipsaw feature to avoid getting into ranging market too often. less trades overall.

aud/chf looks like a good buy and aud/jpy now looks very attractive for long. risk would be too big for now, will wait. leaving tomorrow on vacation so a bit hesitant.

closed aud/chf long for small loss and gbp/nzd for small profit. do not like the way those pairs moved against me, eur/nzd would have hit my stop loss had not I closed it for BE. I always listen to what my gut feeling says.

Had I closed all trades now I would be completelly out of DD and in profit. Nice run. however I think we are just starting.
The DD is almost gone as I locked 9+% and if I get stopped now I will be in only 2-2.5% DD. actually whatever left is not what I lst but what I paid in fees. they charged me for being short Aud. for so long
