It would be good if we can change the setting for time stamps of trades, i.e. setting the time to either local time or GMT time. I'm not actually sure what the time stamp is used to display the trades at the moment, but certainly it's not local time on my computer. I just thought it would be good to be able to change it so we can analyse trades using our charts which might have different time stamps.

Cheers,

The current time-stamp used is the one used by your broker.

We can't change the time-stamp since it would affect the charts (if for example a trade is shifted to the next day).

Thanks for the suggestion!

I understand the trades are taken from our broker. But I thought when you display the history on the website, we should be able to change the setting as we are able to select period and filters to display certain data.

Thank you for response.
Cheers,

There's still something funky with the time settings (at least for my Oanda account). The myfxbook system seems to assume that Oanda's times are in the same time zone as me, but that isn't the case. My account summary comes out in EDT or EST, but I live in PST, so almost everything is posted in eastern time. However, the 'open trades section' uses a combination of my real time and Oanda's listed time, meaning that a trade I opened 2 hours ago is listed as being opened 5 hours ago. I think it would be nice to have either everything in my time zone, or nothing, or something less confusing. 😄
