But if you go deep and understand the meaning of the word, trade, then you will find your way to be profitable.
The meaning of trade is, the economic activity aimed at making a profit from the purchase and resale of goods.
So with the meaning in your hands, its up to you to understand what you should do.

For me trade is about trading. In general, you must have deep knowledges of forex. Know the history of forex trading. Know at least technical analysis. And of course, you should know how to open order and what leverage to choose.

The meaning of trade says clearly that, if you are not making profit from your trading activity, then you are not trading.
So, if someone is serious and want to trade, then he must make profit from his transactions.
This is the secret. YOU MUST MAKE PROFIT TO CALL YOURSELF A TRADER.
If someone understand it deeply, then he will search for the way to trade.

You are trying to specify an abstract and abstract a specific.
'Trading' or 'trade' is a simply way to talk about trading plan, trading system, money management, trading psychology, market instance and analysis.
The skills kit required to trade profitably is a specific achieved parameters. The kit may include knowledge, consistency, strong psychology, analytical skill and much more but no one knows what is the ideal kit.

You live in some kind of utopia. Anyone who trades may call themselves a trader. Even if this trader is trading loosing and he cannot stop in time. He is still a trader.
It is impossible to always trade only profitably.
