I agree with you guys.. but news at 8:30 will determine if we see more downside this morning during the US session towards 1.2020 , or a correction.. to 1.22... follow the herd ;)

the "V" pit on weekly chart is at 1.2075 and price action has responded nicely to it... correction is to be expected for the time being.

USD/CAD is depreciating again and it is at the support at 1.2100, but I think it will keep falling. 1.2060 is the next possible target, should there be a breakout.

USDCAD retraced to 61.8 fib retracement level from last friday.. if the 1.2100 support holds, expecting a rise to the 1.2190 zone..

Staying away at the moment but i see a good buying level a little lower around 1.19.

USD/CAD is stuck in a tight range above the support 1.2060 but the trend is still very bearish, so I have little doubt that the pair will eventually reach at least 1.2000 if not 1.1900.

If USDCAD breaks 1.2080 this morning, I agree totally with you dianajs.. the drop could be deep..

after reaction to US news... market seems to be directed higher towards 1.2220.. as long as 1.2130 holds..

USD CAD is stock in a "moving average triangle" 😲 ( H4 & H8) consolidating before the CPI news at 8:30 .. if the 1.2190 high fails to resist, further correction leads us to the 1.2220 and then the 1.2335 zone while a move south should first break the 1.2160 to then re-test the 1.2080 & possibly the 1.2060 lows

Usd/Cad is consolidating and found support level at 1.2062, further downside is likely to happen if the pair breaks out of the range.

Now would be a nice spot to go long on USDCAD.. right at the 38% daily fib retracement level around 1.2275.. given that yesterday's candle appears to be a "mother " candle. Otherwise, around 1.2235 is the next level to consider, but will it go there ?

It seems as a kind of bullish flag formation 1H, but I believe is a bit early for long :)

I did open a long position. The overall downward trend may not be over yet, but I think it is time for a correction.

USD/CAD met a resistance at 1.2337 and it is currently struggling to break out above that level. If it does, I think it will rally to 1.2400.

totally in agreement with you Dianajs .. if 1.2235 holds.. next "true" resistance will be around 1.2360.. could flash up to 1.24.. especially with a potential hike in interest rate later on today..

appears that USDCAD could go as low as 1.2340 before it goes back up...
