good morning to all (eastern time.. )what a nice move yesterday, I hope you all profited from it. today, I have a question for you people who trade USDCAD.. do you take break-outs ? if so, do you adjust the size of your position when you do and what kind of risk (% wise ) are you willing to take ? thank you for sharing !as for today... I would not be surprised to see UCAD retrace to 1.2735-55 level.. and be ready for another move up tomorrow when news come out.again, thank you for all your input, it is always appreciated !Nico

given the strong fundamental news tomorrow, the market seems to be heading north to a more "neutral" area.. should go around the 1.2505-1.2517 zone before anything... if 1.2533 holds, there is a good chance to see a further move down towards 1.2430good luck to all

my opinion on the matter is to stick to the "mother candle" of wednesday.. 1.2391 is the 61.8% fibo retracement.. and could be a very good entry point.. we had a decent retracement yesterday.. and the movement is rather bullish.. a break above 1.2445 will confirm the continuation of the bullish move .. more retracement could lead to 1.2335good luck to all

totally in agreement with you Dianajs .. if 1.2235 holds.. next "true" resistance will be around 1.2360.. could flash up to 1.24.. especially with a potential hike in interest rate later on today..

Now would be a nice spot to go long on USDCAD.. right at the 38% daily fib retracement level around 1.2275.. given that yesterday's candle appears to be a "mother " candle. Otherwise, around 1.2235 is the next level to consider, but will it go there ?fellas, tomorrow is the US rate decision (14h Eastern time) good luck to all FYI I love reading your input, all of you, and I thank you for that !N

USD CAD is stock in a "moving average triangle" 😲 ( H4 & H8) consolidating before the CPI news at 8:30 .. if the 1.2190 high fails to resist, further correction leads us to the 1.2220 and then the 1.2335 zone while a move south should first break the 1.2160 to then re-test the 1.2080 & possibly the 1.2060 lowsgood luck to all

nice trade djanas, indeed it is consolidating, but I see a possible move to the 1.3335 zone in the near future.. after a decent retracement around the 1.3270 area..

the H4 20 SMA at 1.3285 seems to have a hard time to act as resistance for the time being, we could very well see a rise to the 1.3320 zone before the market resumes its bearish tendancy.. keep in mind 1.3315 is the 38% retracement form this last bearish leg and as always, good luck to all

given the US fed rate decision today, it could very well be, but in the meantime, there should be a decent retracement to put the price in more "neutral" territory before the news, I say around 1.3225-1.3250 zone... good luck to all
