I'm diversified across 10 brokers and even now I'm still crapping it. I've liquidated all my accounts to see what comes back and then I'll make a decision from there on my next steps.

If Alpari has managed to get into this mess, would it mean it was partly caused by trading against its clients and not passing the order through to the market, or it was still taking trades from clients and couldn't pass them through?

No, the client losses were passed onto Alpari.
The client account didn't have enough money to cover their losses due to the huge jump in price

how it is possible? i been out for a week amd check today account almost 300-400% loss
jared could u pl explain if u r realy care about your client but looks like you are also invovlve in this scamed

The only other account I have seen so far that made money was actually a DEMO account... could this one also be a DEMO?
If someone had a REAL account that made money, let us know.

Accounts only make money when you take it out, a fact that's been brought into stark relief for me over the last few days. It would be interesting to see what happened if Jared tried to withdraw from this account.

i think the way forward is only to trade with brokers that insure there clients against losses like this

Yeah, FXCM got bailed out. Time to buy FXCM stocks since they are on their lowest right now :P

they still have to pay all the money back in 2 years plus interest not sure i would be buying any stock long term

i think Jared should consider starting again with a new Fxbook account. Everything that has happened over the last few days has made people very skeptical about how things are run, it seems nobody is getting the same results as he is posting.
It would be good to see him start again with him taking money out of the account now and again, just to prove everything is above bored.
After all we all want the same thing on this site and thats to see a successful EA. Personally i would rather it was run with realistic lot sizes and not some massive risky trades, just to make him look like he is making loads of money, but that's just my opinion

I had MyFxChoice too and got blown out with tiny conservative settings. Even had BE and entry filter set to true. Another poster here has same settings with a diff broker, not Synergy and no USD/CHF trades were placed...not even the last 3 winners Jared got. So MyFxChoice was a bad choice for this EA. Since no liquidity to close at stops on trades that should of not even been triggered in the first place you would think there would be some kind of recourse but MyFxChoice basically told me to pound sand....the trades were processed and there will be no reinstatement. I still emailing them back but looks futile.
